American TV commercials are almost always 30-seconds long. And sometimes that’s just not enough time to weave a full, rich story.
Here’s a four-minute long Thai TV commercial that’s uses every single second to tell one of the most heartwarming, inspirational stories you’ve ever seen.
If we weren’t so damn manly here at IHateTheMedia.com, it would have brought tears to our eyes.

It was cute. Obviusly you are not really meant to think about a product until the very end. However yes obviously a shampoo is not going to make anyone a great violinist, the point of the story though was well done.
so...Pantine will make me a great violin player?
Where do I get some?!
Thank you, Kaj, a friend told me and then I remembered that my bathroom, oops, the wife's bathroom, is full of Pantene containers and has been for 40 plus years. Good job I was never a detective!
I liked the ad, tosh, but well-made, slick tosh.
A shampoo ad! I don't know. Pretty lame, I think.
I mean, she's up there going through the motions of playing her single violin and it sounds like a freekin' orchestra. I hate it when they do that.
And I'm sorry, but I don't think you take a violin that's been busted up and just tape it back together.
It was visually nice, with beautiful people throughout, which is another thing I hate. Like there's nothing but these perfect looking people in the world. Like watching a soap opera.
David....Pantene is a line of hair care products.
Four minutes of melodrama for a *shampoo ad*???
The moral must be: Even if you're deaf and your violin is duct-taped together, you can still have really good hair.
Can't comment. I have something in my eye.
morning glory???
Great ad. Great concept. Great tagline.
Oh God, I can't stop crying and I'm so happy!
Er, by the way, anyone know what Pantene is?
If you are being serious it is a shampoo if you are not lol
