Way off subject guys but still something to be proud of in our great country. In about 20 minutes the mass ascension of hundreds of hot air balloons in Albuquerque will begin. I found out that KRQE.TV will have the best live stream coverage, y'all check it out.

The principle said that he was worried that some of the kids would feel left out? How about this idea for the dipshit. Hold the American Pride day and make sure the immigrant children are included in the festivities? Give them a taste of what being an American is. Start teaching them the pride we have in living in a free country, where you can be all you want to be. Help the kids become Americans in heart and soul, which is what the millions of immigrants who settled this great country felt. A house divided cannot stand, these clowns who call themselves educators need to start uniting instead of dividing.

If any of the students would be offended by this celebration, they should be sent back to their country of origin.
With the parents. I can not imagine any HS-age kid who, if left to his/her own devices, would not become an American.
As a matter of fact, I would not be averse to letting the kid stay (conditionally), and sending the parents back.
a couple of thoughts -
1. It is not a prelude to the cancellation of America - it is another step in a process that is well under way.
2. The principal's justification conclusively proves that a. he does not understand the right and b. he does not understand America.
In re: the right - the left has more fixed ideas than a conspiracy freak convention. You want to know exactly what they think of America between the coasts? Look at the movies, and how groups and/or professions are portrayed. E.g., according to Hollywood, 100% of business owners are either murderers or would become one at the drop of a hat if it costs them some profit. Every small town sheriff is a cross between Stalin and Jim Jones. And of course, all conservatives hate black people and all "people of color" for that matter and want to kill all of their customers (because we are all rich businessmen, after all).
in re: America (that's Amerika, if you are a leftie) - it is based on a system/philosophy that inherently reflects conservative thought. Therefore, it is impossible for any immigrant (which of course, does not include any white Europeans who somehow managed to get into this country), to become an American. If one thinks he/she is, then they are nothing but a brainwashed tool of people who hate them.
There is no reason why an immigrant should feel excluded, unless THEY decided to exclude themselves. If you are here, and you came to take advantage of the opportunity this country offers, and you actually DO take advantage of that, then you are an American.
