High-Speed Rail Report Fraught With “Issues” and “Risks”

• The High Speed rail is bound to be a boon to somebody, it will only cost taxpayers ONE BILLION DOLLARS PER MILE!!!!

• Anybody who says high-speed and government in the same sentence should go to ANY DMV, that train will be lucky to get up to 50 mph downhill

• There is no risk, however, that Gov. Brown's cronies will ever wind up poor.

  • And that includes Dianne Frankenswein's husband.

• This is what happens to liberals when they decide they need a legacy. Brown is already in his fourth tern as governor and has not done squat besides screw up the state, that is not the legacy he wants. He wants to be like his daddy Edmund Brown who built highways and water projects, Instead Jerry is gonna build a high speed train to nowhere. This thing is going to be the laughing stock of the entire country. So far "estimates" of 100 billion dollars, given you might get a couple hundred people to ride the damn thing when it is finished, it will have to be subsidized FOREVER. My guess, it starts, Jerry Brown leaves office, it is never finished and instead is used as storage track for old freight cats by Union Pacific or BNSF, of course Warren Buffet will buy it for 3 cents on the dollar and the taxpayers in Kalifornia will have to pay for this stupid thing as well. And if it does run, will they have "transgender" Bathrooms?

  • No, just a "one size fits all" bathroom.

• Maybe at the groundbreaking ceremony, Jerry Brown will get swallowed up in a sinkhole.

• In the end, all that will be built are scale models of the cars, which will end up as cars on a roller coaster in Disney.
