I have mixed feelings about the whole bruhaha. On the one hand, I can see that Blacks descended from slave would be annoyed by this symbol of the Confederact. On the other had, I had multiple relatives who fought for the South. We were not slaveowners, we were too poor. But they fought for other beliefs as well. Though I don't necessarily agree, I am stunned at the sacrifice on both sides, and am not willing to bury all signs and references. Texas has had a total of 6 flags through its development, and we treasure each for what and who they made us. Seems 200 years later you could move forward..
I heard on the radio today that there are tons of Hillary 2008 buttons with Confederate Flags for sale on ebay.
