Hollywood Accounting: 30 years on, “Return of the Jedi” has yet to make a profit. The actor who played Darth Vader has yet to collect a residual: …big studios set up “corporations” for each movie, specifically designed to “lose money,” often by paying money back to the studio itself. Basically, the studio sets up this “company,” but then charges the company a huge “fee,” such that the company itself rarely, if ever, becomes profitable. Sounds a lot like green energy “investments.” Now you know why they’re all Democrats.

This is disgusting. Okay sure so he is bitching about it, but the man is an actor who perhaps doesnt do much work, if he signed a contract that stated that he should be paid, he should be paid residuals. This is exactly what happens with Hollywood and the hypocrisy there. Everyone else who is not part of the bubble gets stepped on, but at the same time they enrich themselves and complain that no one else is doing their fair share. This should be illegal, but who will rain down on Hollywood?
How in the world could anything associated with Star Wars over the years not be a goldmine? Inflation-adjusted "Jedi" has grossed $749 million.
Simple, Hollyweird libs always find a way to screw you and not pay taxes in the process.
Just more bitching from David Prowse, who hasn't stopped bitching in 35 years. Zzzz.
As Obama likes to say "it's just math."
Stories like these make me cheer for people who pirate movies off the interwebz.
