Hollywood builds an ark destined to sink. When Jewish and Christian test audiences saw the new Darren Aronofsky film, Noah, they were upset by his leftwing environmental whacko version of the Biblical story. Darren, you see, considers Noah “the first environmentalist,” and turns the story “into an environmentalist screed and animal rights diatribe.” Gee, who saw that coming?

Hard to know who the audience will be for this film If Christians and Jewish people are turned off, and they surely would be the largest potential audience, who's left? Atheists generally hate anything to do with religion, so they won't see it. Agnostics won't be bothered if they know it's a largely fictionalized story of a well-known account. Who's left? Oh yes, Hollywood people and movie reviewers.
So, they will sell about 600 tickets the first weekend, and then it will go straight to video cutout bins. Then it will languish in the dollar stores throughout the country, sitting next to the books on Obama.
Looks like another Sillywood atomic bomb. Hope it costs them a lot of money.

They've spent $150 million on it, so I'm sure it will come out. But about the time Noah starts threatening to kill his newborn granddaughters to save the planet from evil humans, I expect people will start throwing things at the screen.
