I think the point here is my humble opinion is to destroy as much of the population as possible in order to make room for the zombies that are more pliable.

Well it seems someone doesn't agree, but it is true. It doesn't matter that minorities are the minority, what it matters is that enough people can go out there and make a lot of damage and that is a form of population control.
