Homeland Security monitors journalists: Alright, so this smacks a little of tinfoil. But this is the Obamanation now. And given the civil liberties violations Dear Leader has already committed to we are not so sure that something like this could be put past him.

The government will never find me! My internet connection is triangulated through 20 different defence department satellites I hacked into which sends out 5 trillion ooglebytes of misinformation every nano second!
Excuse me while I adjust my tinfoil hat, a message from Mork is coming in. Na-nu na-nu everyone.

It was a good read, full of important information.
MSM will get waivers just like unions got from obamacare.
90% of the journalists are already obama's spokesmen,so what's the deal anyways...
Because of my keen insight and genius-level IQ, I thought I would add a comment to put this story in the right perspective. Hopefully, I will use language that even a conservative dunderhead could understand. Although, if you are from the South, even those best efforts are likely to fail.
Here it is:
It is imperative that the government watches the activity of journalists, unless they are willing to present the liberal, progressive, and, therefore, accurate point of view.
I'm sure this is what our founding fathers wanted when they constructed the First Amendment, even though they were slave-owning, hegemonic overlords, as a core value to create our nation, even though I hate it.
True genius is the shortest possible answer to any umm question instead of the 7 minute lectures we get nowadays
R-Cod... you forgot to describe the founding fathers as "xenophobic." But, sooner or later, Oily Liver Uhhh would have.
Anti-royalists! Pro-liberty! Worse than xenophobes.
Mr. Fahrnsworth, did you forget to take your oxycodone?
Hisham! Am I hallucinating? You are visible again!
Shhhhhhhhhh.... My wife thinks I'm taking out the trash. I had to sneak into the den and use HER computer. The reason I stopped posting was because my computer's power coupler went kaplooie and she blames me for destroying my fourth computer...won't let me use hers! What cheek! Oh crap...gotta go! I hear her coming. See ya! I'll be back!
They'll run into the same old problem: you can easily collect massive amounts of data, but then you have to analyze it.
Test run of the new normal. As media gets decentralized, ways of channeling the public debate online are needed. This is where data mining, correlation algorithms and the knowledge of human networks comes into play. You know...shit the government does on the intel side regularly.
That place seemed a little on the paranoid side, even for Russkies.
I hope Mr Napolitano reads this....and I quote.."Fuck you and the security team you rode in on"....
No doubt they'll make an exception for sensitive Muslim journo-bloggers.
You betcha!
