  • Events are moving too fast, dammit. This is the problem with recording a commentary on Thursday to be played on the radio Saturday. My piece for this Saturday is titled, "The case for impeachment" and while it doesn't rely totally on Obama firing cruise missiles into Syria, that's how it starts. And unfortunately I mention that Cameron was getting approval from Parliament.

      Here's what I noticed today: the world is isolating him. Putin and the Chinese thnk he's a pussy, the Brits and the UN ignored him on the Syria question, Iran does whatever it wants, Egyptian civilians turned on him, the Israelis hate him, etc etc. this guy is alone other than his handlers including Valerie Jarrett. That's it. The moronic electorate who blindly follow him are irrelevant because he doesn't need their votes anymore. They can allege racism all they want but no one who opposes him gives a damn anymore.

      • What's the benefit? I think in life in general you do the right thing even when you suspect doing the right thing is futile. Otherwise you're John Boehner. You impeach this guy because he's violating his oath of office, you send it over to the Senate, and you let Harry Reid go on record explaining why it's okay for Obama to wage war without congressional approval, pick and choose which laws to enforce, and institute new taxes.

        • In principle I agree with you but the current House leadership is incapable of articulating anything much less the criminal actions of this President and administration. Boehner is a fool and by bringing articles of impeachment without a coherent argument is not only futile it would be political suicide as the 2014 elections are only a year out and if the GOP loses the House, this country is done for good. Remember, Reid has the MSM to amplify his justification for not trying Obama. They would own the narrative.

          Obama is doing a good job isolating himself as I said before. He will do himself in politically. It's already happening. Look at Obamacare, the Farm Bill/ food stamp bill, gun control, F&F, Benghazi, amnesty, Egypt, and oil production. Life is moving on without him. He is getting his agenda shoved up his a$$. Syria is his wag the dog moment a la Clinton and Bosnia. Kerry's speech was desperate. Impeachment would only bring sympathy from the millions of LOFO voters. Just let this presidency die a natural death. He will likely take the modern progressive movement back at least a decade.

        • No because there are enough districts that are purple at best that could flip to hand the House over to the Dems. 2006 is a recent example. Impeachment solves nothing. The bastard should be frog-marched right out of the White House and charged with multiple conspiracy...murder and treason charges for starters. That's about as likely as a Senate trial. Hey, if Boehner can make the case and break through liberal clutter, I'm all for it. He can't and won't because he is neck deep in the same corruption as BHO.

          this does NOT apply to obama, y'all.
          He's not legally the President, ergo the rules for impeachment do NOT apply. Better to say indictment, as it applies to civilian nationals as well as aliens.
