• It's OK folks. They're Puerto Ricans.

• Government employees in a democrap state..anyone surprised? Same thing happend here in Kalifornication more than once, non-english speaking truck drivers who couldn't drive got a free pass with cash, and a boatload of illegals got drivers licenses before the state made it easy for them. The employees got fired, but I am sure they now work for Cal-Trans or some other state agency.

  • They're working for Cal-DOT. Although "working" is a flexible term. They're actually sleeping in their trucks on the side of the road.

    • Seven guys working on a job site for Cal-Trans..Six watching, one guy holding a shovel...yet they have a couple thousand engineers that make great money trying to figure out where bike lanes go and how to screw up traffic with construction at peak times...

      • They had a photo in the Hayward Daily Review newspaper years ago (about 1982-3) when the intersection at Hesperian and Lewelling washed out from all the rain. There were about 20 guys standing there watching one poor bastard in the ditch with a shovel. I wish I could find it.

        • The running joke in NJ used to be that a JCP&L (Jersey Central Power and Light) truck sleeps 5.

        • When government agencies want the work to get DONE, they hire private companies to do it. And they STILL have a dozen government employees standing around watching us.

• At the behest of Deval Patrick?
  He is going to need all the votes he can get if he's going to run for president in 2020.
