Independent cinemas in the US to show 1984 as Trump protest: Where were these people for the 8 years that O Duce was using 1984 as his blueprint for government? There were doing the same thing then that they are doing now. Stamping their boots on the faces of the innocent and proclaiming that freedom is slavery.

This protest has hints of capitalism in it - the protesters have to pay the cinema owners in order to show their 'resistance' to whatever it is they are resisting.
Fools and their money, or rather their parent's money.
The best part of it is that they will be bored to tears, and likely fall asleep watching it. Unless they realize it is a depiction of what they have been working toward their whole lives.
Unfortunately they are too stupid to realize something so obvious.
They'll see it as a REAL utopia.
