• The left throws around words like "lies" and "propaganda" with Fox. When you ask them for specific examples, crickets. It's funny when a Fox reporter asks a leftist for a specific example of Fox lying and the brainwashed left-wing website zombie stands there with his or her mouth open.

• Its real easy to understand..The Kalifornia Teachers Association is a bunch of liberal, union pigs. They spend more on elections in Kalifornia that any other group, (read bought and paid for politicos) possibly with the exception of the prison security guards. If you ever want to see a real person with their head up their ass (besides Olivia that is) then just go to any classroom and look for the hammer and sickle flag next to the teachers desk. There you will see a teacher with head planted firmly in the anal cavity ion search of more nourishment and enlightenment.

  • Actually, Poopajoe, I've often thought that some of the BS that passes for news on that station would provide an excellent critical thinking exercise for middle school and high school students.

    You can take a transcript of many of FOX'S political "news" stories, and identify the propaganda techniques used in them. You can also take a good look at some of the Frank Luntz style word spin that they tend to use, to recognize the emotional reaction they're trying to evoke from the viewer. And, of course, if the viewer is still too dense to grasp the message they're trying to convey with their spin, there are always other FOX announcers available, to toss in those carefully offhanded sounding comments to push the gullible in the right direction.

    Of course, the opinion piece posted here was carefully vague in its accusations; for the most part, he didn't have the guts to specify exactly what was said. That's a very common FAUX News manipulative technique, too: instead of providing direct quotes, they like to paraphrase (with a commentator explaining to his audience exactly how they're supposed to interpret the paraphrasings). It's a handy way of lying, without actually stating the untruth outright.

    And, of course, people like you fall for it hook, line and sinker, because you hear them telling you exactly what you want to believe----even if it's a pack of lies.

    • Troll, when you learn to tell the difference between news and opinion programs, then you can speak about the subject. Frank Luntz does the opinion shows, not the news ones. But then you already knew that, you just want to try and spin more lies.

      • He's also been coaching Republican governors on how to talk about issues raised by OWS. They are worried. He literally has been suggesting they NOT use the word "capitalism". I find this amazing

        • I rarely watch TV news of any kind. I prefer to read my news, rather than having somebody read it to me. That said, I needed a fast internet connection for a while yesterday, so I had breakfast at the local McDonalds. This is one of those that they are turning into their version of an internet cafe.

          The had Fox News on the large screen, and it was NEWS time, not opinion time. So it was just news, like any other, delivered by better looking women. I saw no bias whatsoever, in any direction.

          Back at home, last night, I flipped around the channels and landed at Fox News and MSNBC. I couldn't tolerate listening to either one of them. It was just a bunch of paid-for opinions.

    • Take Fox or Faux and substitute with either CNN or MSNBC and you will then be accurate. You can substitute the word you for me and you'll be right on!
