Insurance exchange sets deadlines in preparation of ending services. That flushing sound you hear coming from the People’s Democratic Tropical Paradise of Hawaii is $204.3 million going down the lava tube.

And yet, lefties I argue with on FB still insist that it's really working very well, the Republicans should just shut up and quit trying to eliminate it.
That's always their answer "SHUT UP" because they can't come up with a legitimate defense.
I do have one liberal friend who doesn't really like Obamacare, and sees some of the flaws, but we needed to do SOMETHING, and this was what we had. Sort of like votingfor Obamabecause it was time for a "black" president.
They always say the GOP answer was to just let people die. Sorry, folks. There were a NUMBER of alternatives put forward, none were considered by the Democrats.
I have always said this was a pig in a poke, though this poke is rather transparent. I am not a math whiz, but even I could see this wasn't going to work!
Obamadeathcare, circling the drain everywhere.
I saw a story a while back about how Kalifornia claimed they had 30,000 people sign up during the open enrollment. In reality 4000 people sign up. Must be that common core math again....This whole thing is a ponzi scheme...And we have to contribute or get fined...Obamadeathcare, kill it now....
Let the swirling vortex of taxpayer money begin.
Hubby and I had a big laugh about this last night! I'm sure my neighbor who couldn't wait to join, and the only person who loved it, is jumping for joy that he'll be dumped onto the federal exchange Hell! I say it starts the beginning of the end. They say Oregon, RI and other small states are next.
As states are responsible for increasing portions of the supporting money, they will all go down like dominoes. Then noone will be covered. Thanks, Obama!
I am in a odd position with this.
Since I won a bit of money in the lottery, we had to pay back all the subsidies my wife got for Obamacare. BUT, now she's not eligible for subsidies this year, because of last year's income!
It now would cost her much more money, for lower coverage, with a higher deductible.
I told her to let it go and we will self pay, it's cheaper.
With high premiums and high deductibles, it's basically just overpriced disaster insurance, isn't it?
Yepper.
That's why I suggested she do the illegal alien insurance deal. Go in, get treated, and don't pay.
Show up without ID, tell them your name is Maria.
Even better, her name is Theresa.
With a Spanish accent, that works great. And you're Jose, of course.
I'm,....uh,.....screwed.
Another one bites the dust.
Not surprised. They don't have the money to keep it going without raising the resort tax to 200%, which will kill their tourism.
