Is sugar toxic? The Democrat-media complex hard at work to gin up a new public health “crisis” for their buddies in the lawsuit industry to fill the coffers with. Aye matey, thar’s gold in yon citizens’ cupboards!

John, you should thankgod for Corporate greed.
Think how many children would be starving if it weren't for Corporate.
Think how many people would not have computers, mobile phones, tv, radio, microwaves, medicenes, cars, mobile homes, etc etc etc.
Just think john? With out corporate greed you would simply not be online.
I think that you have been misinformed about greed.
Without Corporate Greed in the first place, we would have no need for those things. It's all part of our enslavement.
Dances with Cheetos, you are a moron..and always will be......
Dances with Cheetos
Shouldn't that be Dumber than Cheetos?
Of course sugar is toxic! So is hot sauce, water, oxygen, and that organic rabbit food the libtards like to munch on so much. Everything is toxic in sufficient quantity.
Sorry for the source, it was on top

Interesting, but after seeing an NBC website, I feel the need for a shower.
"Toxic: 1) of or related to poison, 2) poisonous"
Plutonium is toxic, strychnine is toxic, suger is not toxic. There are no safe levels of plutonium or strychnine but you can eat a teaspoon of sugar and not fall over dead. You can consume sugar every day and not fall over dead. What you have to do is manage your diet intelligently and consume sugar in moderation. Adults do this all the time without "experts" and politicians telling them to do so.
Yes, but didn't John or Mary Tyler Moore or Mary Poppins or somebody say, " a spoonful of sugar makes the strychnine go down!"? Oh yes along with Corporate Greed....keeps my stocks up nice and high, you go, you greedy bastards!!
I say a spoonfull of sugar cures hiccups. My daughter agrees, every time she gets the hiccups she comes running to me grinning ear to ear and saying "I got the hiccups mom, I need the sugar treatment!
As if on cue my 10 year old daughter just came to me with hiccups. I gave her a teaspoon of sugar, which she only partially swallowed. Result: cured.
Amazing isn't it?
It really is.
I saw this report on "60 Minutes". People with a family history of diabetes or who are overweight should watch the sugar, but to say it's "toxic" by its very nature seems almost like an attack upon an industry. The media have their free speech rights but I think the beef industry sued Oprah Winfrey years back.
Just the usual Corporate Greed.
Look hows here again with the same old spew....little Johnny the mommy's basement blogger who can't get a job.....
prol'ly hopped up on sugar too.
I'm not letting Corporate Greed poison me.
Please jockstrap. Drop dead.
Jeez, I go on vacation for a couple weeks, and didn't keep up w/IHTM that much, so I didn't see Johns' nonsense. I check in today and here he is, spewing the only thing he can--Corporate Greed. What a one dimensional fool. We're tired of hearing it, pal. How about moving on to a different topic once in awhile, loser?
So you're in with Corporate Greed to silence me?
"So you're in with Corporate Greed to silence me?"
You're an annoying, leg-humping poodle, so any individual, group or association that can shut you up has my enthusiastic support.
If that's what it takes.
Right, sign me up with Corporate Greed.
*waves hand wildly in air*
ME TOO, where's the sign up line?
Do Cheetos have large amounts of sugar?
I'm sure it's Mountain Dew or Jolt Cola.
Then add in sugar in the soda that he drinks to wash them down.
Ok, one gram of sugar per 13 Cheetos. So idiot boy is eating what, about a half pound of sugar a day just in his Cheetos?
Oh, nothing GNTM...I'm allergic to it and I like breathing so I read labels before I eat anything. You would be surprised to know just how many things have sunflower oil in it. Even some bodywashes.
Uh oh, I use sunflower oil in some things. What did I miss?
According to a quick internet search, they have 1.0g of sugar per serving and a serving size is about 13 cheetos.
I don't know I don't eat them because they are made with sunflower oil.
It's like anything else in this world. Moderation is key, and we don't nee government to be the moderators.
"Moderation is key". Wish I had thought of that last night when I thought that last shot of Jameson's was such a great idea.
But drb - WE can't be trusted to know what is best for ourselves and our families. We need "experts" to make these decisions, dole out the amount we are allowed, and decide in what form we are permitted to partake. Big Daddy Government will take care of us.
We need “experts” to make these decisions
Would those be the same experts that told us that saccharin was deadly, and put so many people out of work, only to later end up allowing it back on the market in a big OOPS!!!?
I'm a highly sought after medical professional (or so I've been told) so I think I can qualify as one of those quazi experts at least on a good day. Perhaps maybe.
By the way - I like the new look - did you get a facelift? You look so fresh!!
No facelift...just a new pink dress and Mr De Mille took a close-up photo
YOU are not a gubmint official - hence you are not qualified to make determinations about anything. Our politicians know everything about everything. The rest of us need them to take care of us.
well what good wuz gettin a colidge edumacation then!?! Waisted monie to get a peace a paper! I swear! I cudda jus' sat on my hind quarters and really "broadened my horizons" as my mama usta say.
