• Look for the RNC to back someone like Jeb, the organization is great at chosing mediocre candidates who will lose the election. We need someone like Gingrich, a proven leader, or Rand Paul, fearless new blood, to lead our country. If we don't get someone elected who can make the easy choices, repeal Obummercare, and the tough choices, fiscal sanity in government, we are done as a free republic. Electing another socialist like Obama will only help turn us into a socialist nation that much quicker.

  • That all sounds lovely on paper, but let's remember that CONGRESS is passing all these junk laws. And even if the President vetos any law from Congress, they can override the veto and pass the law anyway. We need to elect someone with some brains who can be the face of the country without embarrassing the shit out of all of us. But the real work is at home. We need to be more supportive of those Congressmen who are decent at their jobs, and we need to ensure the idiots get unelected. On both sides of the aisle. To put it in sports terms that most guys prefer, we need a deep bench. We should be searching out and developing candidates for the House and the Senate who will act, not sit around on their thumbs. We need people who can think on their feet, can plan ahead, and can reasonably negotiate. IF we do that, when Presidential elections come along, we will have a plethora of candidates to choose from.

• Once again we are back to choosing the lesser of 2 evils. We need a president who can work with congress, unlike Prez. Quagmire who's a lazy spoiled communist brat. Unfortunately another member of the Bush clan isn't going to appeal to the Low Information Voter, and we will end up with another communist piece of shit by default.

• I second ooddballz - compared to Obama, Bush would have been much more grand.

  Now, we SHOULD have someone like Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann, or Rick Santorum. Preferrably Gingrich.

    Jeb Bush twice had people on the way to take Terri Schiavo out of the nursing home to rehydrate her and then fight the thing in the courts. But he chickened out both times when a judge told him not to do it. I kinda lost respect for him at that point thinking he lacked courage. Terri Schiavo was not dying. The fact that she lived 13 days without water shows this. She wasn't denied water for a couple of days because she was in the imminent process of dying and couldn't keep anything down. She was purposefully dehydrated to death. Nursing home personnel would come into her room and water the flowers but not give her any liquid. Any of us would be gone after about two weeks without water. Her husband who had a girlfriend and two children by that girlfriend while Terri was still alive should not have been allowed to have her dehydrated to death because he was compromised.

    Once upon a time it was said Jeb Bush was more a true conservative than W. But now he's strictly an establishment guy. He criticized the GOP for being only "against" stuff. You're darn right, Jeb, I'm against virtually all the Obama agenda as you should be.
