  • The USA should present a UN resolution to ban the existence of Islamic State world wide. Because I want to know who would oppose it, & take names for future reference.

  • Let's face it, no one really wants to see a offerings nuts. But how are they going to enforce this? They can't throw offerings off roofs like they do homosexuals...

  • It does come across as absolutely inane to ban the animal for such a birdbrained reason, but I was wondering how many people there may using the pigeons to communicate. I know it would be pretty low tech but how many cell towers are over there anyway? They do work great for transporting information and perhaps ISIS wants to clamp down any way they can.

    • Ok, I found this information on Wikipedia... hope it's factual.
The sport of flying homing pigeons was well-established as early as 3000 years ago. Messenger pigeons were used as early as 1150 in Baghdad. By 1167 a regular service between Baghdad and Syria had been established by Sultan Nour-Eddin. Also, Tipu Sultan used carrier pigeons. They returned to the Jamia Masjid mosque in Srirangapatna, which was his headquarters. The pigeon holes may be seen in the mosque's minarets to this day.

Well using the birds certainly wasn't a problem before!!

    • That might actually be true when Kim Kardashian wears blue jeans. The stress fractures in the material send out ultrasonic vibrations which interact with the mantle. And that's not even mentioning what happens when she sits down in blue jeans...
