Well everyone knows the purpose of Obamacare was to get to single-payer, no point in going into detail.
I still feel bad for all the older folks (50+ no offense on the old part) who I dub the Obamacare-generation. You guys will be the first to suffer under government run healthcare. My generation will be right behind you, but sometimes I feel like they'll be to drugged up to notice.

The idea behind Obama Care has always been to drive private health insurers out of business. Obama and the "progressives" surrounding him want single payer health care.

Wasn't driving people away from private coverage to public coverage , the plan all along ? I always felt the government wanted their hands on the vast amount of dollars spent on healthcare . This will be the tool .
A One World Government is going to be VERY expensive and between the Healthcare Tax and the coming Cap & Trade ( or the variation there of ) , these will most likely be the largest funding source .
