It’s August and Scotland’s winter snow still hasn’t melted. You know what they call it if last winter’s snow is still on the ground when this winter’s snow starts falling? The beginning of an ice age.

I always chuckle when people whine about glaciers melt- what exactly is ice supposed to do? The only thing it does is melt. It is, or it ain't.
The other thing is that warm is wet and cool is dry. We better be glad that snow pack melts. The actual worse thing is if the snow pack from places like the Himalayas and Rockies didn't melt. If they didn't melt, we would have even worse droughts and water shortages.
It's like they can't figure out even the most basic things, it literally is crazy.

We had the best rainfall totals seen in 6 years across the state and I heard on the "news" this morning we are looking at a humongous, killer El Nino setting up in the Pacific which will bring us rain, snow and the coldest temperatures we have seen in decades. If this is what climate change is all about I love it!
If you're lucky, all the precip will dissipate the toxic waste spill the EPA did the other day.

manipulated dataevil Republican global warming so the climate change snow may never melt until a carbon tax can be passed which will correct the issues.... and stuff...It's that damn "white privilege" snow again....

In the olden days...We would get blizzards in North Dakota that would be early on in the fall when the ground wasn't frozen, we would get dirt (From plowed up fields) mixed with snow and the snow drifts were actually black in a lot of places, we called it a "Snirt Storm" Snow/dirt mixed...I guess that would have been politically correct snow drifts.... :)

I thought it was called global warming? You know, because the Earth's so warm the snow doesn't melt.
No worries. The NASA climate scientists are on the job, "recalibrating" earlier temperature data lower so when Michigan is under an ice sheet we'll still be experiencing "the highest temperatures ever recorded".
Don't worry, it will melt next winter after Scotland is inundated by all the melting ice from the Arctic...or something.
