Forget this sun. Earth is too far gone from AGW to recover and we'll need to leave for a new solar system. If they'd have only listened to the best and the brightest.... Time to abandon Earth I and go to Earth II

Next NASA will use the image to scare small children by telling them this is what earth is gonna look like if we don't have mommy and daddy stop driving their SUV's, stop using electricity and move back into a hut made of poo...

FTA: Scientists at NASA have combined images of the active regions of the sun from Oct. 8, to create a composite photo making the sun look like a jack-o’-lantern.
They learned how to do this as a result of manipulating temperature data and glacier images.
Mankind's abuse of fossil fuels cause that to happen to the sun. You'd never have seen that kind of image back in the the 1400's.
