Japan brandname firms shut China plants after protest violence. Hopeychangey is bustin’ out all over: “China and Japan…are arguing over the uninhabited islets in the East China Sea, a long-standing dispute that erupted last week when the Japanese government decided to buy some of them from a private Japanese owner.” Wonder which YouTube video got them all upset?

I have a feeling that most of the American public has very little idea that China, Japan, & Korea have a very long & dark history with each other. There are long memories & not much in the way of trust between these 3. Keep an eye on them.

Apparently not. Those islands are in the middle of some very rich fishing areas, hence the arguement over them. Besides, back before WWII, Japan was busily invading and slaughtering on the CHinese mainland. Americans supported the Chinese, which was anpother nail in the our coffin during Hirohito's attempt at world dominence. THey have been enemies for centuries.
It's all a ploy of the PRC gov't for the Chinese to vent steam AWAY from the communist gov't as their own economy starts to tank. Otherwise they would NEVER be able to burn down a Toyota and a Honda dealership. It makes China look bad.
