    • He'll never get them. To get the union vote, you not only have to ACT like a Democrat, you have to admit to being one.

  Actually, since King Barky is on Carter's fourth term, Jebco would be running for Carter's fifth term. If we can survive that, nothing can kill us. I'm actually surprised we have lasted this long.

• All you have to do is go back forty plus years to the educational system I grew up in. We didn't do stupid shit like the cryptic common core curriculum but somehow we turned out all right.

  The education system has been a clusterfvck ever since Carter created the Department of Education, it's been all downhill since then.

  Part of the problem is the push to ensure that all kids progress grade by grade by lowering the standards to ensure that all or at least most will graduate and receive a now worthless piece of paper.

  You know, to me the 70s were a blast but the era also set in motion events that would eventually lead this country to a very dark place just forty years later.

  The Nixon Shock, taking the dollar completely off the gold standard, creating a true fiat currency. The creation of the petro dollar in response to the various oil crises. Government expansion. The rise of the welfare state. The beginning of the end of our industrial greatness.

  The onset of the era of political correctness. I watched the game that booted Howard Cosell from Monday Night Football when he made a comment about Alvin Garrett that people took issue with even though anyone that knew him knew he was not a racist.

  That's when it all began, boys and girls. Oh crap, I said boys and girls. Sorry, Target.

  Anyway, the 70s spawned so much of what ails us today, including a government managed public school system.

• Jeb was for Common Core before he was against Common Core..Haven't we heard this kind of shit before? That's why we have Juniors in high school in New York reading the Three Little Pigs..They can't read any thing tougher than that. And Obama wants to send them to college free?

  Between Common Core and the so college institutions of higher learning, soon no one will be able to read or write...The schools class picture will all look like Alfred E Newman.
