Jobless claims jump; core PPI up, trade deficit down. Initial claims came in at a seasonally adjusted 380,000, economists expected 355,000. It was harder to find this story than it has been the past few months when the claims were lower than expected. And while the headlines in the “claims down” stories mentioned “Obama”, today his name is nary to be seen. Coincidence, right?

Gee, what a shock. The unemployment numbers are worse than little Mary sunshine predicted!
How often has that NOT happened in the last 3+ years?
Didn't we just get a big pronouncement tht jobless claims were DOWN even when they compared 2 weeks records? In governemtn ther may be liars and damn liars but there are ALWYS statistics. Is there a math teacher around who could check the work on those papers?
U6 measures under employed (actually only have to work 1hr a week to qualify for that) and the people that quit looking. Government statistics in the media are mostly a joke. Has anyone mentioned EPI (Every Day Price Index). You know the things like food and energy. Those little things we use everyday.
What was that quote from Mark Twain "Their are liars, damn liars and statistics".
In short, unemployment is up, inflation is up, taxes are up, and we have record deficits. The economy has never been better under 0bama's super genius guidance.
0bama-Biden 2012!!!!11111!!!elebenty
In simple English we are screwed.....By Obutthead and company and did not get the pleasure of being kissed first.
How could these numbers be what they are? His high and mighty can’t be blamed for such news. He has done more than even Jimmy Carter to help those who are down trodden.
Sarcasm, just one of the many services I offer.
That just means that eventually they will have even lower official unemployment when they stop counting those people, too.
