This is what the establishment republicans run as a presidential candidate and wonder why they lose.
At one time I respected McCain, now he's no better than a lowly liberal.
He's nothing more than a part of the Republican "establishment" whose primary purpose is to pantomime opposition to the progressives in order to blunt any sort of substantive grassroots resistance to it- in the voting booth or otherwise. Seeing people like McCain as GOP leaders it's easy to imagine how Conservative voters can get dispirited and not bother showing up to vote.

I respect McCain for his military service but as a politician he is as corrupt as the rest of congress, "his Airbus buddies" he is either going senile or just another RINO, he wants honesty out of the CIA, ironically that is what the American people wanted from what used to be OUR government and its elected (now purchased) officials. Get in line senator if you are disappointed
I agree, I respect his service, but other than that, he's turned out to be a waste of space.
If he hadn't been through what he had, I doubt he would have been reelected more than once.
Why wouldn't they lie to Congress? What's the Senate going to do them? Nothing. Just like when everyone else lies to them. Senate hearings are a farce - they're nothing more than a televised arena for politicians to grandstand and then do nothing.
This administration laughs at your "hearings" and I have to say, I can't blame them.
