Kennedy sideswipes truck, truck driver gets ticketed. Kerry Kennedy, RFK’s daughter, ran into Rocco Scuiletti’s truck on the expressway and kept going. His truck wasn’t damaged so he proceeded with his route. What’s he gonna do, chase her down like some kind of vigilante? Anyway, yesterday Rocco, not Kennedy, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Once again the depraved Kennedy clan seems to be above the law.

  • How are you going to make a case that she caused an accident if you don't have a victim in all of this?

    Granted the victim left the scene. Remember she is a kennedy. She can hire the best lawyers around.

    No accident, No crime, No case. The police did not pull his name out of a hat and say "Oh!! we will just pick anyone we want".

    There are rules to this.

    • So be specific on what you think the truck driver should have done, Fred. Remember, the government doesn't allow us to use cellphones while we drive anymore so he can't call it in. She kept going in a Lexus and he's driving a semi, so chasing her down seems dumb and futile. What was he supposed to do? Pull over on the expressway and start waving his arms frantically? That's against the law, too, unless it's an emergecy and how does "no damage to my truck" qualify as an emergency? His only option was to continue on his way, which he did, and report it later, and now we're only talking about time period. The cops are basically saying he didn't report it quick enough, but he was in the newspapers the very same day, full name and employer, so how quick is quick enough? Face it, he got a ticket because in his original interview he said some derogatory things about Kerry Kennedy and this ticket is revenge by teh Kennedys.

      • Whether we like it or not, this is the way the law works.
        Christ!!! I can get the government to sue itself if I want too, and have done so in the past.

        For discrimination against the disabled. It's all in the way the laws are written.

        • He can call it in while he is parked with plate number, and he did stop to check for damages. Notsosilent

          • Actually back to work Poppajoe, Sergeant in the smaller department I mentioned earlier...And it's fun again..This whole matter is the guy got cited when he didn't have to, it appears the cops revenge cited him for calling in about a Kennedy (hey are such great drivers/pilots/sailors anyway)..The law is the same everywhere, if this guys truck had no damage and he did not cause the collision, there is no report, other than he can claim he was the VICTIM of a hit and run..The most often heard words on a traffic stop? "Do you know who I am officer?" that's when I respond with nope, but I will when you give me your license, registration and insurance won't I?......

            I don't know what Fred's deal is, but you think he would read the other posts before spouting off about stuff he doesn't know. Especially since he's wrong.
            Let's not even get started on the Kennedy's. There isn't enough time or bandwidth to cover all their crap!

Somebody should tell the little runt that when you actually have skills at something your odds are much better getting a job, eating Cheetos, sitting in your mom's basement and talking on your goobermint cell phone while waiting for your food stamps does NOT qualify as a skill.

          • But,.....the work day at the machine shop ended two hours later than at the factory, so I actually worked an EXTRA hour that day. I figured that made it ok.

          • I am a fan of a College degree, simply because most employers have gotten neurotic about employees having one. But I blame the media and Madison Avenue for teaching our children that they will have a huge, perfectly furnished home and 2 new cars by age 25. Your parents didn't have that when THEY started out, why do the kids think they should?

          • Flashing, I know the feeling, I have been a janitor, worked in parts departments at car dealers, delivered papers, carryout at a grocery store, drove a tow truck, and the funny thing is I was NEVER without a job or even two. Yea it's very hard right now, but 99 weeks of unemployment just lets people give up....And those college graduates who think they are gonna start at 200,00- grand a year and a BMW are sadly mistaken...More like 20,000 a year and a rusty Honda....I didn't get a degree until I was working full time and a lot older than most students...Sometimes its best to wait, but that doesn't seem to work to well nowadays either, everyone wants it now..

          • Back in my early days of making a living, I was working in a bicycle factory, on an assembly line. Hey, it wasn't much, but it put a roof of my own over my head, paid the bills. The line foreman wanted me to do two jobs instead of one, without any extra pay. I quit, walked out. To hell with those guys.

            On my way home, I stopped in at an automotive machine shop and asked if they needed any help. They handed me a set of coveralls, and showed me to the back room, where I started tearing apart motors for rebuilding. I missed ONE HOUR of work between jobs.

    • Try reading the story Fred. The police were following her for a while, she was weaving in and out of traffic, they saw her hit the truck, she was incoherent when they finally stopped her.

    She admitted to taking Ambien, but the family had a "Private drug test" done and say she had nothing in her system.
    Now, they say she had a seizure.

      This is the Kennedy family we're talking about, they've had decades of experience in covering up their "mistakes", escapades and felonies. They have dozens of laywers. doctors, pyschiatrists, priests, and PR men on the payroll, plus a friendly media, all ready to aid and abet in the cover-up.

      Works every time.

  • So many Kennedys. So many alcoholics, drug abusers, adulterers, reckless drivers, bad skiers and untrained pilots.

    Then there's Ted Kennedy.

  • It is really funny how the Kennedy name just fits in so perfectly with alcohol, drugs and stupidity. Joe would be sooooooooooooooo proud!!

    • I suspect if the truth were known, there was a great deal of emotional and physical abuse in that family. Maybe sexual abuse, but for sure the first 2.

        • No, but Old Joe was a hard drinking Irishman. At that time in particular, most discipline was swift, vicious and violent. And the emotional abuse of being told you"ll never amount to anything unless______(fill in the blank) may have influenced their inability to eveer take responsibility for ther actions. Then again, maybe its just the money.

    They believe they are above the law, & nobody "important" hold that against them.

  • She probably had a seizure. I've noticed a LOT of democrat drivers have seizures whenever there's an accident. They can't help it, it's in their blood. They want to seizure your money, seizure property, and seizure your freedom, so it only makes sense that it would affect them while they're driving.

    • When normal people do that it's called drunk driving but when a democrat does it it's a seizure? I did not know that thanks for the update.

      • I'll have to remember that when I stop a DUI that has the Obama sticker on the car? Instead of "how much have you had to drink tonight?" it will be "How many seizures had you had tonight?"

  • If he was driving a semi, it's likely he may not have even felt the hit. My uncle drove them for years, and it takes a large impact to move those things, they are so freaking big. Then again, as the Kennedy name is involved, I'm afraid he may be screwed, while she gets a walk for drugs and drinking.
