‘Kill Zimmerman’ Twitter advocates violence against Martin’s killer. A new low in this tragedy. We can only imagine the outcry, not to mention how fast twitter would pull it, if someone started an equally atrocious account called ‘KillShawnTyson’ on Twitter.

I guess this is the story I'm going to be sick of, & cannot avoid. Just like O.J. Simpson, just like Rodney King, & whatever. You won't even have to really follow the case & you will still know what's happening in the story, & so many people are out in front of that there will be a mistrial. It just looks like a very good year for hyper-sensitive policital race activists on all sides to come out of the woodwork. Personally, it makes me sick to see how this case has been politicized. If Zimmerman is guilty, the legal process will tell us, if not, the legal process should tell us that as well. The fact it has become a political issue, mainly from the left, should tell you what direction the Obama reelection campaign will be going this year, & which direction the Dems have been going for a long time. It makes me sick, & makes me question if America's days as a constitutional republic with liberty & justice for all, are a thing of the past.
I agree however, in all reality this is something that happens on stories where race is not a factor (like the Casey Anthony story and other storis like that). Any case that gets sensationalize annoys, the ones where race are a factor just creates more of the same conversation and nothing gets resolved.
So how do you like the 24 hour, gotta have it now, & you can hav it now media culture? BTW, like it or not, both of us are part of it, right now.
It is what it is. We just needs to wait until the next massive event happen and blows this story away.
I want to agree, & I do, but this will be rolled into the election campaign. So we ain't getting away from story for a long time.
It's Palin's fault. ;)
Welcome to the "Post Racial America" that our first young inexperienced white African American president brought to us.
Uhm liberals (of all colors) acting like muslims... how interesting...
KQ , they have the same mindset . What they do is okay , no matter what it is . If someone else does the very same thing , but is not one of them--- SCUM .
I have quite a few buisness associates that are muslim and on a day to day , face to face , are wonderful to talk to and do buisness with . Most are very educated on their culture and some are highly educated in life in general . I have NEVER heard any of them condemm the thoughts , acts , words or deeds that most find offensive , which is also a trait of the liberal mindset . As things worsen in this country and group survival becomes the norm , I'm not sure what our relationship will become . I'm hoping for the same friendship we enjoy now , but based on how they act in most places in the world , my hopes I believe are misguided . In the meantime , I will continue to treat them as I would want to be treated . Just my 1-1/2 cents.
I am willing to give respect and I am willing to be friendly and understanding however I am covering my back and making sure I am ready for whatever. If it is between my life and liberty and respecting a Muslim who wants to be loyal to his religion on the fundamental level, I chose my live and liberty.
Here we see the similarity of the Muslim world-view and that of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Roseanne Barr, Spike Lee, the producers of the Today Show, and other like-minded bigots.
Killing is wrong, so if a (non-black) man kill a black man, he (without the need to wait for the results of a trial or inquiry) must be killed. Similarly, any defamation of Muslims is wrong, so if a man say that Muslims are killers, they must kill him.
Killing of Muslims in Afghanistan is wrong, so if an American soldier kill a Muslim in Afghanistan, he (and any other foreigner in the vicinity) must be killed.
The killing of non-Muslims by Muslims, however, is never wrong because it must be the fault of someone else—punishment for a killing, perhaps, or revenge because someone had said something insulting (or something which could be interpreted as insulting) to Islam or Mahomet or the Koran or a tribal custom or an item of dress...
Anyway, clearly, we need to find a way to put all the members of Al Qaeda and the Taliban together in one place with Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Roseanne Barr, Spike Lee, the producers of the Today Show, and other like-minded bigots. I’m sure they’ll get along just fine.
Something is only evil or wrong , if a conservative does it .
Ummm, a crosshairs with someone who is STILL innocent until proven guilty (was the standard in this country at one time, you know) in the center... Where is the "civility" police? Krugman? Froma Halfwit? Anyone? I thought so.
That's my point.
