Killing of Texas district attorney, wife, seen as targeted: Some say it was done by a Mexican drug cartel. Some say white supremacists. And while we can’t really say that we prefer one party to be guilty over the other we can say that if the supremacists are culpable at least we will know that Eric Holder didn’t use any of our money to give them guns and there is a better chance that justice will be pursued.

There are individuals who feel their only purpose in life is to kill someone in law enforcement and or their family who are in law enforcement. Years ago their threats where looked upon as just idle threats and away to bolster their prison reputation before they arrived. Now days, no way, no how. The cartels will kill anyone to get to someone. The white supremacist are a little bolder but just as dangerous.
Those in LE know to keep our heads on a swivel and never assume a damn thing. If you do, it very well could be the last thing you do. My money is on the cartels. This prosecutor most likely got into their leadership and more importantly into the drugs and money. When they offer 1million cash to get some of their people out of a jail, there's nothing they won't try or do. This infestation has spread across the " secure" borders and is like a cracked wind shield. It's spreading across the US at an extremely high rate.
Think how easy it is. Another example of how exactly 100% of the social problems in our counrty are created by the government.
And exactly why marijuana should be legalized. Cocaine too. And probably heroin. So long as these bloodthirsty psychopaths control the industry, no one is safe. Lets let our government psychopaths control it instead. At least it will just be screwed up, but it won't be by murderous gangs, just by inept gubmint paper-pushers.
Then, if the government had it's hand in the drug business, they would be so drunk with power and cash flow that they might leave healthcare alone!
They will never leave it alone. Even if it's overturned, they will try to sneak back in and take back as much control as they can. They just won't be passing full-faced laws. they will sneak stuff in on the backs of of other bills.
I am freaking out right now about how much information all of these companies have on me, and I know it's because of the electronic records crap. I told you that the doctor terrorized me into starting a new, expensive medicine. Well just in the last 3 days I have gotten a phone call and 2 different letters from the pharmacy and the pharmaceutical company and one from a rep somehow associated with my insurance company, all offering me "assistance" and "advice" and "help" with my prescription.
I don't want THEM calling me. if I have questions, I will ask my doctor. Or my pharmacist. Or maybe ever the Pharma company directly. But I am really uncomfortable that all these people know who I am, and what I am taking. It's scary! I have the feeling that this is all going to come back to haunt me someday. I will be told that I can't qualify for this job or that one because of my medical condition or something. Can you imagine if it were a mental disorder?

All one has to do it look at how the Mexican Cartels operate south of the border and it's easy to figure out they'll start trying the same crap here. Looks to me like perhaps they already have.
As an aside I knew a guard who used to work at San Quentin and this was about 25-30 years ago. You have never seen anyone so paranoid and scared of what the inmates could get their guys on the outside to do to him and his family. He had loaded guns all over the house. He even gave me a talking to about never telling anyone where he lived or what his phone number was.
Let's face it. Some of these prison gangs want to reach out and touch someone it's real easy. Same with the cartels.
The only way they'll ever stop this is to make everything they do a death-penalty offense and carry it out fast and frequently.
The mafia and other gangs have done this for years. The cartels are just following their examples.
Back in the 1980's my sister was a volunteer sheriff's deputy in Harris County (Houston). She is an engineer, and did this unpaid, the way that lots of places have volunteer fire and rescue people. But, besides not being paid and only working nights and weekends, she was a "real" cop.
She ended up walking away from the program after it became widely known that a biker gang (the banditos) had some kind of a super gang reward for killing a cop. Despite the fact that the volunteers were real cops, the sheriff's department would not step up the safety for the volunteers. She decided that being a cute blonde target in a uniform, with little backup was just a bit too risky for a hobby.
These people need to be incarcerated for life.
To your point, there have been kidnapping attempts (of wealthy) Mexican nationals who have residences in Texas an probably elsewhere. One was recently attempted in The Woodlands, an upscale Houston suburb.

Actually the original suspect in the Colorado murder of the Prison honcho and his wife came to Texas like a fool and got a one way ticket to the only court that counts. And now the claim he was released by mistake. Um hmm. Sure he was. He is the goat for now. The Texas Murder is being investigated as related, and every DA in Texas is at the gun range practicing.
The libs will make sure it's the "white supremacists", even if it isn't.
At least they've narrowed it down to two races.
