The fact that Krugman is touting a CA comeback really means things are going to get much worse before it gets better. That's IF it gets better.
Maybe I am a purist and see things too much in black and white.
But I refuse to have a debate on whether, for example, illegal aliens should receive in-state tuition. Are you f**king kidding me?
They should not be and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, should be deported.
If there was ONE Congressman with a gonad, they would introduce a bill that would deduct from the annual foreign aid to any country, $5,000 per illegal alien here from their country to cover processing and a one-way ticket back to their capital city.
Get the hell out of my country!
I would hardly consider a 150 billion deficit a recovery. Maybe that dipshit Krugman should move to Stockton and find out how well things are recovering.

Krugman is a perfect example of what's wrong with the modern "intellectual". Just like climate science, they all have their mathematical models of how the world works and they have so much faith (I don't call it "confidence" because it's beyond that) that they cease to look at the real world to see if their model still matches the territory. Krugman is so convinced that his Keynesian bullshit absolutely positively HAS to work that he sees whatever it is he believes he's supposed to see even if it's not there.
Faith as in cult follower's devotion? American politics is increasingly approximating the equivalent of a suicide cult where the political buzz term, "drinking the Kool-Aid" takes on an ominous connotation.
They have everyone coming back to where they came from....except the ILLEGAL ALIENS.
That's because California spends about $30 billion a year on them.
