Paul Krugman: The One Percent’s Solution: Unable to seriously defend economic policies that fail every time they are implemented Krugman has turned to the tried and true method of obfuscation to deal with his ever diminishing credibility. This time around he is blaming austerity and the one percent. Never mind the fact that hasn’t been any austerity and of those “one per-centers” that came about their money unfairly they did so by partnering up with a corrupt central economic system that Krugman wants to give even more power to. And just like his suggestion that the Internet was going to have an economic impact no greater than the fax machine this is not just wrong, but laughably wrong.

Well C_Stras, about the only thing you and I will agree on ( seeing as I am a 'Gator' ) is the media desecration of my 'Timmy', as far as football goes. The NCAA has made sure there will be no more 'recognition', of God ... UGH! It sickens me that there are numerous pro players that can recognize the all-mighty and nobody seems to notice, much less comment or chastise.

He is usefull thou, by reminding us of what the great majority of liberals actually believes (and what they vote for).
The policies that he propose aren´t meant to make the economy run, they are meant to make liberalism work.
Spending to prosperity doesn´t make the host healthier but it does increase the amount of energy and food going to the parasites.
For the host to truly recover, the amount of food/energy going to the parasites would have to be radically reduced.
There wouldn´t be enough left for all of them, thus, they wouldn´be able to coordinate anything, instead turning on each other because none of them want to sacrifie anything individually.
Also, if the flow of food/energy going to them can be reduced can by 70 or 80%, why not 100%? After all, hosts usually dislikes parasites.
That we are here together on this site, where they allow us to comment, and even use the occasional vulgarity to describe the vulgarity being done to our to be "once great nation", I'd bet we agree on far more than simply football and Tebow!

Krugman is a hack, has been proven over and over to be a hack, in so many words has admitted he is a hack. The only reason he has a job with the NYT is, well, because it is the NYT. Only a bird cage approved rag would have him.
This isn´t about economy, it is about preserving liberalism.
If governement mererly spent what it got from taxes, it would be a major setback to the whole scheme, also millions of liberals would be left without a job.
If the gooberment did only what it is supposed to do, keep our defenses strong and protect our national security, we wouldn't be forced to pay all those taxes. The Dept. of Education, the DEA, the EPA, Fish and Widlife, Forestry, National Park Service, the list goes on and on, are all pretty much useless and should be cut way back or done away with all together. If the states were allowed to take care of their own affairs it would cost us a hell of a lot less plus the jobs these federal agencies do would be done much more efficiently.
Even Sweden has figured out that a centrist government does not work and is going back to privatation of business and a free market system. But, you will never hear fools like Krugman admit this little fact. It goes against their Big Brother idiology.

The media and the left (BIRM) keep referring to Krugman as having won a Nobel prize. He did not. What the dwarf won was the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel that isn't really a Nobel Prize at all. This prize is sponsored by the oldest central bank on the planet. (hat tip ZeroHedge).
Knowing that helps explain why the dwarf is always hyping central banking and fiat money printing.
Uh, that is a Nobel Prize. You've simply given the full formal name of the prize. It's not one of the original prizes named in Nobel's will, but it's awarded at the same time and in the same place as the others and it's generally considered a Nobel Prize.
I stand corrected. I have always looked at the later "prizes" as awards. Which IIRC they were called way back in youth.
