Lake Superior 92% frozen over, a new record. The Great Lakes as a whole are 77% frozen over, also closing in on the record set in 1994 (84%). Since the lakes added 11% over the last week and temperatures are still well below freezing, a new record seems easily achievable.

Global warming is such a scam and all those who have fallen for it have proven yet again what PT Barnum stated "there's a sucker born every minute"
Now they are talking about some of the lakes freezing over for the first time since the 1980's.
And still not a peep from manbearpig about all this ice that isn't supposed to be there.
If I understand the concept of being a scientist correctly, the essence of science in general is to never see any of it as set in stone. The mission of the true scientist is to perpetually question everything around... never deem any conclusion as the last word and not to enter into any consensus that precludes a healthy investigative doubt into any theory. So- to declare global warming as settled is itself a tell that it isn't real science- and those who would enter into any "scientific consensus" do so at the cost of their credibility as scientists.
By the very nature of the narrative it shows itself to be nothing more than a hoax.
Yup--one need only read up on Galileo to see where "settled science" was not so long ago
Ice is irrelevant. If there is just a 1% or less chance all the green worshipers of AGW are correct, we need to trash our current economy and like style and let these green idiots lead us into extinction. Ignore the ice, just keep trying solar panels and battery cars kill coal and oil until it works.
On the other hand, a 50 to 75% chance these green cretins are wrong must be ignored.

Okay, here is how the media will spin this:
Global warming has evaporated so much of the water from the great lakes that the levels have sunk, thus making the remaining water (at lowered levels) freeze faster.
BLAME BUSH!
Say, come to think of it, isn't there a bit of a kerfuffle up there over some Evil KKKorporation bottling Lakes water and selling it for a PROFIT?
And to think, just a couple weeks ago one commenter on a site somewhere (don't remember where now), was grousing that the Lakes remained unfrozen later in the year than ever before in human history!
