I wouldn't put something like this past this crooked assed administration, the way they're bleating, they didn't realize how bad it was going to be. I bet the plan was to dump just enough to take control of the the mine and the area around it, but in usual government fashion it got way out of control.
Whoever is responsible is a terrorist and needs to be arrested, prosecuted and jailed for life, and that little fat white haired guy at the EPA needs to be fired, and the entire EPA budget used to resolve this.
These bastards put possible millions of people at risk for the sake of what? More government intervention, more money for the government to spend and more power to the government to regulate who lives and who has to leave the area.
And this is the same agency that wants to regulate all the waterways? Oh hell no, they can't even fix one without screwing up ten more...
That "little fat white haired guy" running the EPA should be tossed into jail for a very long time, along with all the other EPA officials involved in this mess. That's what they would be demanding if a private company had screwed up like this, it's only fair that their own regulations apply to them.
Never let a crisis go to waste, and if there isn't a crisis, make one...

Eventually these guys are going to run into a problem that they didn't manufacture and they won't know what to do.
From the EPA's point of view this spill is a great thing. Now three or more state's waterways can be declared superfund sites with all this contamination. All the monies they can award to their environmental brethren for long term studies on the effects of the spill. How they can leverage this to bully other mine owners. How they can make propaganda about the evils of mining in general. Yeah it's all good for EPA.
This is a terrorist act. It was a criminal act. It was unethical and it was wrong and if it causes sickness and deaths the government will be liable. Taxpayers will have to pay for it even though it wasn't our doing but nothing will happen to the officials because this is a corrupt administration/government.
Everyone is so calm about this because they created the problem and they didn't care who gets hurt! The media has done NOTHING about this story. It is disgusting.
