How bad is it when a late night show has to have a TV newsreader on as a guest? I would rather see some zoo animal take a crap on Letterman's head. Or on Brian Williams head for that matter. God I miss Carson....
Same here. Every now and then I will watch clips (magazines) on You Tube. There are some classics with Rodney Dangerfield.

Pretty much. You watch old clips of Carson, & immediately you see how far late night tv has plummeted. Leno is the best of what's out there, but he's not even close to what Carson was. As for Letterman, he has'nt been funny since he was on NBC & had been announced to be heading to CBS in 93. This guy has had a few moments of good tv since, but he has been stealing money from CBS for almost 20 years. I guess if someone is dumb enough to sing the checks, he should keep cashing them.
Why? Is Letterman looking to date above his station?
