This dolt is what is helping kill America. People like Gretchen Gardner, vote for all the things she said she voted for, "...every park, every library, all the school improvements, for light rail, for anything that will make this city better...", & then she discovers she can't afford it anymore. She will then move somewhere else to escape the taxes & the BS that is forcing her out of her 1930s bungalow. These idiots are like locusts, they destroy everyplace they inhabit, & then leave it when it's in ruins. They then begin the process again in their new location.

Exactly. Austin is fun to visit. They have parks, museums, a decent public transportation system, but it all costs. To want those things and not expect to pay.is ludicrous!

With my oldest living in Austin, I'm there often. Its a fantastic city, too bad all the liberals are running the place. Now they are seeing what their votes cost. Yet they wont correlate the two. Voting for every "great idea" and the cost of paying for it.
