Yup- as CO2 put it: "dumbass"... unfortunately some are so deeply indoctrinated that they are unable to see the truth when it's staring them in the face- in this case via cancellation notice and facing higher premiums... both of which were fully intended. The only unintentional consequences of the ACA would be if someone actually saved money or were able to keep their policy.

That is not it's mission- that was the sales pitch. The mission has borne itself out as being to destroy the current health insurance system and make people dependent on a government rescue that will not only cost them more money while delivering less in return but will also cost them freedom of choice. It puts medical decisions in the hands of bureaucrats at a time when the government has shown its willingness to use agency leverage to harass political enemies and to circumvent privacy laws in the process.
