Liberalism, the decline of an illusion. “Liberalism as practiced in today’s America is a chimera, not actually an ideology but an alliance of interest groups controlled by elites for the preservation of their (the elites’) wealth and power.” Goverment of the empty suits, by the empty suits and for the empty suits.

Newsflash:
It never was an ideology in the sense of something having ideas, principles, rational goals and purposes. Whether practiced by the French revolutionaries, Napoleon, Hitler, Pol Pot, Castro, Stalin, Wilson, Che, FDR, or Obama, it has never been anything more than a bunch of stimulus-response methods and "policies" practiced by people whose minds are working on a hypnotic level at best, much like computers infcted by viruses.
You can easily boil it down to this:
Liberty? I'm against it. Get rid of it.
Statism/Opression? I'm for it. Bring it on! Whether it's practiced by governments, criminals, or mentally ill people is really irrelevant.
That's it. That's all you really need to know.
I wonder if it's hunting season for 'empty suits,' or do you even need a license, seeing as they are a general nuisance and pest. They destroy crops, livestock, the water supply, the mining industry, the auto industry, the manufacturing industry, the fast food industry, they destroy holidays; they root around in the halls of government and sap the country dry of it's vim and vigor, they destroy education, they destroy hope. I bet if you bagged a few and hung their carcasses on a barbed wire fence, the rest would get the picture and emigrate to Antarctica.
Illusion?
I would have gone with Delusion myself.
Just what I was thinking.
