Liberals in a quandary about aggressive deer. In a small Oregon town south of Portland, just across the border from Cali-crazy-fornia, the deer are taking over: attacking residents and generally discombobulating the populace. So they’re going to have a town meeting to discuss solutions.

I used to hunt deer.
One morning when we left the cabin we noticed a doe had fallen through the ice on the lake.
We spent the morning rescuing her. After her initial fear, it was clear she understood we where helping her and she lost her fear.
Another morning a buck was tangled in a wire fence. I sat down and talked to him until he was calm. I cut the wires and set him free. He din't run or snort. it was clear understood.
Haven't had the heart to kill one since.
With some practice, I can now walk into a dear heard without causing alarm. Its a gift. No pictures but I do have witnesses.

Instead of beer nuts, let them eat some deer nuts, they are cheap, because they are always under a buck.

Actually, I ssort of agree that maybe humans should leave the deer th e hell alone. During the rut, anyone with a brain knows to steer clear and deer generally aren't sitting in your living room. You stay in your territory for a few weeks, they stay in theirs, and everryone is happy.
That is not possible in many communities. The deer can come right up to homes.
No one will mount a challenge to that.
I'd bet a lot of doe against a few bucks that dog won't hunt.
Uhm?.... :-/ A meeting to discuss solutions...? That is just weird. Considering the dangers of lyme disease as well, I am thinking that having a deer hunting season is the best possible solution. I mean what OTHER solution could there be?

LMOAO...I was stationed in Oregon many years ago and poaching deer was a huge problem. I guess liberalism has rotted the brains of the people there to the point where they don't know how to take care of a simple problem. Hells bells, if a deer gets that close to you a .22 pistol will work, with a head shot you won't even ruin any meat!
To of the food chain recoils, criss, pisses themselves, then calls for meeting. Normal humans would kill some of them......The left: not normal
The deer and everything else in the Oregon SSR belongs to the state. It is up to the commissars of the democrat party to find a solution. If they deem it important. Perhaps a party apparatchik or two will attend this local meeting - to see just who is talking and acting against the party in this town.
Must be welfare deer. Treat them kindly and they want more and more and they soon take over. Humans get what they ask for and Ashland may you have fun playing with them.
