It doesn't get much colder than fighting against people suffering from mesothelioma or black lung disease, who have a hard time breathing. There's just such an ingrained portrayal of liberals as compassionate as the defend things like this along with the crucifixion of the unborn, while at the same time conservatives and Republicans are portrayed as heartless. I fear too many gullible voters are just too programmed with such lies.
