  Good for him! If that young 'man' is a diabetic, what in the world was he
  doing out drinking in the first place.

  • I'm guessing he magically became a "diabetic" overnight. He would have done better to claim he suffers from Tourette syndrome.

    • What is this about being Diabetic? I miissed that. Not that it makes any difference. Diabetes does not make you a lying, stealing POS.

      • Is it just me, or did I see another kid throw something off the train right behind him, like he was throwing his bag at him? I didn't see a bag but what was that guy doing, if not giving him his bag?

• The problem here is reflected in ScotRail's official response. They are essentially apologizing for what happened to the little twit. If this had happened in the United States, the punk would be labeled a victim, there would be an army of lawyers lined up to sue, the citizen who intervened would likely be facing criminal charges, and the train employee would probably be fired or suspended. Our society has become so accustomed to allowing government to take care of every little problem that it is seen as a problem when people take care of themselves. It's a very sad state of affairs when a self-reliant person is seen as deviant and the trouble-makers are seen as those in need of protection.

• May this serve as a prophetic metaphor concerning the 2012 presidential election. I hope a big man throws the little man off the American train.

• Hurray for the "Big Man". There are so many utter failures of parental responsibilities like this idiots father, that it need to some to this. So many people have this attitude of entitlement that what they need from time to time is a real good ass kicking!!!!

  Yeah, conflict management... the conductor said "I’ll sit here all night pal. I’m getting paid for this but they (the passengers) will start moaning." The guy that threw the jerk out wasn't interested in "conflict management", he probably just wanted to get home sometime this decade.
