Lots of Democrats Want Socialism: They complain of a system that produces too many choices while demanding a system that produces too little bread. How is it these people have come to be known as champions of the poor when it is their ultimate goal to have those poor starve?

I love this woman... she was right.
This in the end is about two things: being envious of those that work hard (or were lucky and worked hard to keep up) and destroying them and make them poor and it is about having slaves. Make the poor dependent so they can be slaves and make the rich poorer to penalize them for being "lucky".
It's absolutely true. The left likes to play with numbers, knowingly framing them in ways that make the innumerate (which is the majority of people, which is why people who have math skills make more money), THINK a situation is something that it isn't. But is their goal really that people are less well off?
Well, first, they don't really think of people as individuals. The "people" are just a mass, a blob of numbers that produces things for the elites. And these elites see themselves as a higher form of life. THEY are the only ones who truly understand art, nature, fine cuisine, and all the beautiful things in life.
They are truly offended at all the masses of troglodytes driving their SUV's and campers through Yosemite and Yellowstone. They are appalled at some Croatian immigrant who did well in business here enjoying a filet and wine at Jean Georges. They honestly think that a factory worker or electrician has no right to get into his own car and drive willy-nilly all over Gaia's creation any time he pleases.
Their goal is to restore feudalism. Whether the masses are better off or worse off is pretty much irrelevant, as long as THEY stand apart from said masses, and get to enjoy the better life that their education and higher intelligence has earned for them. They will live in the castles, and the rest of "the masses" can can toil in the fields, factories, and office cubbyholes for the benefit of the elites, and then get into the light rail that will take them to their cubbyhole apartment where they can stay in front of the 21st century Soma - the TV - until the next day when the light rail will take them back to work.
The real funny part is that they turn up their noses at the rich, and the Nouveau riche, because they feel they didn't earn it or deserve it, so they want to take it away from them, and keep most of it themselves, while they deign to give a pittance to the masses, to keep them happy.
In the meantime, the Socialists are nothing more than social climbers, that fancy themselves elite, but are nothings. They just allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the a-holes in academia, to believe that they are better than the rest of us proles, when they would be Deltas in a Brave New World.
Right - all the socialists (aka democrats, progressives, etc), see themselves as a higher form of life. A minority of them who are not necessarily better educated or more intelligent, but rather happened to get into positions of greater power, do not see most of their supporters as their equals. But they'll never turn down a vote or voice. So consequently, "geniuses" like Cher or Sean Penn continue bouncing around imagining that someday soon, they will be ruling the world, while in fact they and 99% of their voters are nothing more than "useful idiots", to be thrown under the bus the moment it suits those in power.
And the "Delta" reference is spot on. It is exactly how they see the world.
The noveau riche, the immigrants or homeboys who work hard and make money in their own retail business, contracting, or some technical field is exactly what is wrong with America, and the reason they hate it. People who belong outside of the moat should have no right to move inside and enjoy the finer things in life next to the higher forms of humanity.
Batshit Bernie wants all our money so he can decide who gets what...That has worked so well in Europe and South America....The Helen Keller style of political wisdom......
The best way I can describe socialism is you crap on your plate before you eat, And smile and like it because the government told you so.....That may sound gross but the truth is more often than not very unpleasant..That's why demotards run from the truth like dear from a forest fire.
You city folks are screwed if the socialists get their way. It's hard to have a bread line when there is no bread. There are no Smith's or Kroger's in town to buy meat, milk or veggies in the socialist world. Those people have a "meat Wednesday" or "veggie Thursday" and if you don't get there in time you are shit out of luck. No meat or veggies for your family that week unless you find some on the black market.
Those of us raised in, and living in, the sticks won't have that problem. We can skin a buck, we can run a trotline, we country boys will survive.
