We all know this is just a distraction from real issues. Let people feed their kids what they feel is right and lets focus our attention on our crumbling economy. The more attention this issue gets, the less we concentrate on what really matters. Just keep packing lunches for your kids like you always did and this whole thing will blow over.

This is PART of the real issue, being that the government is messing too much in our lives! Yes the economy sucks (again, TOO much government intervention). But we the people have to start waking up and standing up somewhere.... and if it is over a kids turkey sandwich, so be it.

You know what? I see it happening. They want to legalize marijuana and other drugs, but I can totally see certain things like trans-fat being consider a dangerous drug and therefore prohibited or else HEAVILY taxed.
