  • When my cousin told me she couldn't say anything about her daughter's behavior because she had done the same things, I asked her "aren't you supposed to be the adult and know better?" She's still not talking to me and I'm thrilled since I don't have to be around her little "precious".

  • Great story. you should've gave that bitch the opportunity to assault you so you could watch her cuffed up and on the way out advise her that BK food is better than Jail food while you take a humongous bite right in front of her.

I hate idiots that won't control thier animals. When I was little, you minded like you had manners and if you didn't, your ass would know about it for the next 2 days. It's called parenting -NOT CHILD ABUSE- as the liberals try to label it.

    • The real reason that liberals call it child abuse is that when these kids are adults, and get to vote, they remember who it was that let them get away with anything they want. I have been tempted to smack a kid that acts like that, but have restrained myself. It's really the parents that need to be beaten for letting the kids act like this.
My stepson thought he could bully his mother into getting what he wanted. He was 15 when we got married. I let him know in no uncertain terms that I would beat the living shit out of him if he kept the shit up. He threatened to call family services. I handed him the phone and told him "Call them, maybe they'll get here in time to see me kicking your ass"! He was good for 6 months after that. Now, he is 32, and tells me how much he appreciates what I did for him. I wasn't trying to make his life miserable, I was trying to make a man and a self sufficient adult out of him. His father couldn't be bothered, and hasn't spoken to him in over 10 years. It bothered him for a long time, but he doesn't seem to mind any more, he knows who took care of him and his mom.

      • Your story is a stark reminder of just how vitally important fathers are in the lives of their kids. I've been very firm (but reasonable) with both my two step-daughters and my two bio-kids. I take small credit for their individual successes I take shared credit with my wife for all of them being nice people. Even the lawyer.

        • I always felt a responsibility toward my stepsons. I figure that if I married their mother, I should be at least somewhat responsible for her sons also.
What I find to be a damned shame is that the younger generations seem to be so selfish that they don't even care about their own kids, much less any steps they may have. Then, people wonder why kids are so poorly behaved today. Family Services may be the worst thing that ever happened to kids. Sure, they do save a few kids that are being terribly mistreated, but they have given kids that are just misbehaved, carte blanche to be arrogant, demanding, assholes. If parents were allowed to discipline kids without government interference, the kids just might be salvageable.

          • My step daughter calls me Dad, not her real father. Not something I sought out, I just earned it.

          • That's the whole point. Teach them, be responsible toward them, and they will realize that you are a worthwhile addition to the family. When fathers abandon their kids, they look for someone else to fill that void. If you treat them well, show them the right way to be, and discipline them responsibly, they appreciate it. They may resent it at first, but they will come around.

      • Thats a great story..and made me Laugh out loud....I would handle a couple calls a week for "child abuse"..99.9 percent were the child calling 9-1-1 to report they had been "abused" by their parents. You get there and find out the kid was a real piece of snot, and the parent spanked them. We always told parents, You can discipline your children, just don't leave a mark. that usually stopped the b.s. right there. And Guess where the kids got the idea? (at that time social media was not that big) The schools taught them to call. In some cases (real abuse/sexual assault-YES CALL!!) but because your parents smacked you on the ass for stealing or something worse? Oh hell no...

        • Every parent I tell that story to smiles and congratulates me for standing my ground. I get the feeling that many of them are too afraid to do anything similar. It's a shame, because they are raising a generation of assholes, and it's all their fault. You will likely meet some of these kids trying to get away from an armed robbery at a bank or gas station.

          • I really liked your story. you are what a responsible parent is. Most everytime I discipled my son, I told him why he was getting punished but I also reminded him that I was disappointed in him and that I loved him. I raised 1 son. He had his times also. Now he's a deputy sheriff in the Texas Panhandle. I started him out with martial arts when he was very young. It had a lot to do with it. He kept busy and stayed away from the drugs and scum. I thank God everyday and I couldn't have ask for a better son.

          • Thanks likwid. I only tried to be the kind of parent my father taught me to be. It's a shame that more parents aren't as responsible.

    • If my kids acted up they got one warning, if they did whatever they did again I'd tell the wife to have it boxed up to go, pay and I"d take the offending child out to the car. We'd then drive home and eat there.

A couple of these and they quit acting like little buttheads in restaurants.

  • Read the comments, A bunch of these "posters" assume the kid is got some kind of disability...How about taking the track that the kid was a little bastard and his mother was an asshole? I see it every day, There's a shitload of people out there who either don't give a damn about their kids or don't know how to be a parent. If my children had done that, they would have had me escort them out of the restaurant, and I would have explained the "error" of their ways in private...If the story is real, I think the guy did the right thing.,...and it was hilarious.

  • So, the story is from a person posting on Reddit which is never the most reliable source. Still funny, though. The original first person account is below:

"So a while ago I had decided to treat myself and go to Burger King. I hadn't had the greatest of days and I had a headache coming on. It was a very long line and I was at the end of it waiting patiently. When behind me comes this woman yapping on her cellphone with a little monster of a child. This kid was out of control, screaming, punching his mother throwing around a gameboy whenever something didn't go right in the game. The mother didn't seem to pay any attention to him and his continued yelling of 'I want a Fucking PIE'. After about 5 minutes of the line with these people behind me, I had gone from a headache to a full on migraine, but nothing was going to stop me from getting those burgers. I calmly turn and ask her nicely if she can please calm or quiet her child down. Immediately she gets up in my face telling me I can't tell her nothing about raising her child and to mind my own business. I nod and turn around, shes still yelling at the back of my head when the child cries out again how he wants a pie, the mother consoles him, calling him sweety and ensuring they'll get pies for lunch because she loves him so much. Things immediately go back to the they were and I wait another 5 minutes before getting to the front of the line. It turns out it was so slow because they had 1 trainee on cash during the lunch hour rush. All I can think of is how the people behind me ruined my splurge and gave me this headache. I then decide to ruin their day. I order every pie they have left in addition to my burgers. Turned out to be 23 pies in total, I take my order and walk towards the exit. Moments later I hear the woman yelling, what do you mean you don't have any pies left, who bought them all? I turn around and see the cashier pointing me out with the woman shooting me a death glare. I stand there and pull out a pie and slowly start eating eat as I stare back at her. She starts running towards me but can't get to me because of other lineups in the food court. I turn and slowly walk away."
