Tell you what this is about Chris, Obama backed the revolution in Libya without finding out who he was arming. Al Quaida ended up with most of what we sent, & Chris Stevens job was to attempt to get those weapons back. They then attacked whatever we had as an embassy, sodomized Stevens & killed him, plus 3 other staffers. You cannot convince me that anyone in the administration thought it was "about the video" FOR A SECOND. This was nothing at all like "a demostration that got out of hand." It was an orchestrated attack from the get-go, and it was obvious. The "blame the video" story was always a story.
Nor will you have much luck convincing me that it was some random act of destruction. The attackers were there to get a job done. They were after something very specific, and those 2 SEALS who gave their lives messed it up for them.
One theory I've heard floated is that the plan might have been Stevens' kidnapping and then his release brought about by the magic powers of Obama's velvety voice. It's a theory that makes me go "Hmmmm..."
