I agree with KQ in thinking the timing of all this paired with the James Brown wig comment had a lot to do with OReilly being let go at fox.

Many people have seen the link between O'Reilly making fun of her (even though he apologized) and the PAST accusations that he had already settled being brought in the liberal media and asking his advertisers to leave the show. It is possible the man is a sick freak, however, one can make the link that he was castigated because of what he said. It is my understanding that these incidences allegedly happened months or years ago not recently as the media seems to indicate and that the women were paid off to remain silent and that the incidents themselves allegedly had happened months or years BEFORE the women sued.
The timing is interesting nevertheless. Notice how this is isn't being played out in the media as much...
