Maybe Romney answer was “inelegant” only because Mother Jones didn’t disclose that part of tape was missing. Fake but accurate? “…Corn has admitted that 1-2 minutes of audio/video are missing. That missing audio/video includes part of Romney’s controversial answer.” Sorta like NBC with the famous Zimmerman 911 tape. Like the phony Bush documents pusher, Dan Rather. Everything these crooks say is a lie, including the “the” and the “a”.

Seems fair. Parts were missing from Romney's speech just like parts were missing from Romney's primary election.
I’ve watched you go from being a novelty, to the Town Crier, from pretty sad to downright pathetic. You’re challenging one of my beliefs that nobody is beyond hope, going on 30 years old and looking irretrievable already.

What was so controversial? I watched the clip, the whole video, and I don't know what the fuss is about. Y'all know I don't want to vote for Romney, I've made my case and read your rebuttals many times on IHTM, and I'm not interested in that debate again because it's up to Romney to convince me, but after this video Mittens has earned much more of my favor. He needs to talk like this to the American people, not just donors. There was no script or teleprompter. No fear of misspeaking or making a gaff. Just be honest and go for it, life's to short.
Plus this was an absolute contrast compared to Obama. If we've ever seen a "secret" video of Obama, we would finally see him speak the truth and advocate radical Marxism. This was Mitt talking in a private home to a small group of like minded people whom he was trying to get to part with their money, and there was nothing radical or offensive about it. If this was the Democrat party, we would have seen them plotting the destruction of America.

You ever worked a job where you made so little that you paid no income tax? And as i understood it at the time, i caught a break on the deductable because i was taking care of myself.. I didn't perceive it as a handout nor think of myself as victim. Of course, i was only 19 at the time
Was it your first job? Were you just entering the work force? Did you have years and years of previous work experience to draw from? Were you dependable enough to be on work on time and ready to work? Did you wear clothing appropriate for the job, or were you into your own Gothic look and repel customers? Were you still living at home at 19? These things come into play, in some way or another, for every job that is available. The job is not the personal property of the job-holder as so many mistakenly think, it belongs to the person providing it and only so long as they and their employer remain profitable. If the job-holder isn't concerned with the bottom line of his/her employer, he/she isn't concerned for his/her own welfare! Believe it or not, most folks don't know that. I know I'm singing to the choir, but I feel better now that I've gotten my two cents worth off of my chest!
