• Looks like someone from the Mayor's office made a call to WLS and made them an offer they couldn't refuse. Kass and Cohn were big time supporters of a run off election and had Chuy Garcia on their show numerous times. The shitcago way...soon to be expanded to your internet service.

  • I pay attention to politics here in shitcago...Not only would I not be able to ID the Republican candidate for mayor I don't even know if there IS a Republican candidate. Nice choice.. Just for shits and giggles it would be nice to see how many votes that person might get. Can we get barry to come back a couple of more times???

• Had to read the whole story to get to the interesting part, Obama showed up to campaign for Rahm....No wonder Rahm got screwed...Every time Obama shows up to support someone, they loose. Even Thugcago is figuring out a community organizer is a waste of space.

  • I'd be more then shocked if the dead rat didn't come back and "win" the run off election. Really wouldn't make that big a difference to the eventual demise of the once proud city of Chicago as he and Garcia are cut from the same cloth. The really satisfying aspect of this is the repudiation of all that is obama. If barry can't pull off an election here with all the $$$ and endorsements he provided what does that tell you??

• Hey, isn't Chuy Garcia the lead singer for the Greatful Dead? I thought he was dead...this is Chicago however, and they do let the dead vote in every election; so, it makes plenty of sense that they would let the dead run for office. Actually though, isn't Mr. Garcia just another garden variety, dope smoking, bomb throwing, sidewalk Marxist?

  • Garcia is not garden variety, he's the real deal. I caught his speech at his election headquarters on WBBM 780 AM, & he's gotten some big time endorsemments, especially when consider who he is up against. He's got the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU), the Chicago Federation of Labor (CFL), Grassroots Illinois Action (GIA), the Independent Voters of Illinois Independent Precinct Organization (IVI-IPO), Democrats for Education Reform (DFER), Reclaim Chicago, the Green Party of Chicago, the Progressive Action Project (PAP). On top of MoveOn, the SEIU, & others I can't remember, Garcia will be tough to beat & makes Mayor Emanuel look like a Tea Party conservative. He's no good, & I hate to say it, but "Deadfish" winning another term would be the best outcome.

    • Won't the commies just put an even more hardened aparatchik in play for the next election? Chicago has been a hotbed of marxist-socialism since the Civil war. I think the best thing to do is force an Article V conference and take back our individual state's sovereign dignity, (ie., the Federal bench may no longer impose socially and morally abhorrent laws on the various states and territories). The idea that an Article V constitutional convention would be a tit for tat trade off every time a different group of political tyrants came to power is ludicrous. There is more "constitutional conservatism" in this country than people realize and any state delegation is going to have to represent the populace and not just the vested money special interest groups, at least not unless they're constitutionally grounded groups like the NRA, or groups that actually uphold original intent and not the "living constitution" meme.
