McDonald’s Responds to Increased Worker Costs in a Way Min Wage Protesters Shouldn’t Like

• Next time you get a 'tude' from someone, ask for the manger ans ask loudly if the worker has a glass eye and a few blown citcuits in its memory bank that employ kindness and respect toward customers.

• Wawa convenience stores have been doing something similar to this for quite some time. They have a keypad at the beginning of the deli counter where you punch in your order and when they call your number, your sandwich is ready. Now, if they did self checkout, they will just need sandwich makers and that's it.

  • Trust me, the technology exists.

• This equipment won't ignore you, spend time talking about last nights sexual adventures, won't sneeze on your food or forget to wash it's hand after going to the bathroom. it will not give you attitude because you requested a change in the menu item and won't have trouble counting out change. and it won't wear a turban.....

• Also, robotic fast food technology will replace some folks as well. Hate to say it folks, but it's getting to the point that we don't need people anymore in the workplace. What's sad, is that most of the tech nerds creating this technology out there to replace entry level workers are liberal/progressive in their politics. Silicon Valley is run by left wingers, who are putting people out of work. All the while, supporting the very politicians who support raising the minimum wage, making them unemployable.

• Automated check out has worked in supermarkets, so it will no doubt work in fast food outlets as well. However, Progressives will move to thwart this trend by agitating for punitive taxes on check out machines, and whining loudly about Corporate Racism.
