Well, it seems that Abongo Obama- the brother of "the smartest man in the room" - is pretty dumb. Look at that picture of those poor, helpless, needy kids at the top of the website. Big eyes... empty bellies? In dire need of our help? Those are HIS kids. I mean, he is not technically lying, since he admits it on this page http://barackhobamafoundation.org/founder.html. But really, couldn't he have either bought some stock photos of starving African kids, or not mentioned that those particular ones are his spawn?
It seems that he also has no concept of the word "proposed." How do you show a photograph of a proposed latrine?

Why are there just latrines in the middle of nowhere, anyway? Wouldn't it make better sense to have it closer to where people might suddenly need one? Seems a bit counterproductive to have to walk a kilometer to take a poo in an outhouse... you know? I would be like... "ummmm HELLO bushes that are right here"!!

Not really. It seems to me that all of his relatives are bottom-feeders who will scam any way they possibly can to take advantage of the name. I find it hard to believe that anyone would donate to the outhouse-building BS of this brother. My guess is that it's a setup for him to get some gubbmint grants that he can scrape off. But it's just a small bone with a few tendons hanging off it. Obama is not doing anything to help anyone except himself. I mean, chances are really good he is not even related to those people - any of them.

And might I inquire what percentage of donations go to the charity in question? 5%? 10%?, and the rest end up being absorbed into the "Administrative" costs.

Oh ye of little faith! The foundation has proposed building a BRAND SPANKING NEW outhouse in one area of Kenya! Just keep those donations rolling in, and that latrine will be built! It may take 10 years and cost a few million dollars, but they have an actual PICTURE of it on their website (in between the donate buttons). Looks legit to me. I can just imagine what her "higher ups" are telling her. I bet it goes something like this: "chill out - it'll take a few years, but you will be hired by XYZ corporation as the CFO - we're talking MILLIONS and a golden parachute. You know - I was just thinking about that, and what could Lois C. Lerner really do? If HER boss told her to push it through, is she going to say no? Really?
Lets say she is not a libtard, and this came up. Is she going to go to the media, knowing that they will not print anything negative about obama? Is she going to refuse to do it? Is she going to quit her job (which is actually a highly skilled position, unlike many of the government employees out there), and kill her career? What if she has a mortgage, a kid or two in college, a couple of car payments, and she's not old enough to retire?
if she IS a libtard, she still might have been unhappy about pushing through this sham organization, which in no way "helps" the annointed one. She may not have minded throwing around her weight against the TEA parties, but there is no freaking way she did THAT without deliberate marching orders from above - no matter how rabid a libbie she may be. And, frankly, I find it hard to imagine that she is a hardcore lib anyway, just by virtue of the fact that she has a REAL education, and not one of those liberal arts kum-by-ah degrees.
Anyway, what would YOU do in that case? What would any of us do? It's repulsive, but it's not exactly life-threatening. It's distasteful, but is it worth losing everything you have worked for over? I would like to think that I would walk out in a fury, and call FOX news immediately (actually - knowing me I probably would) but I find it hard to blame anyone who didn't.
Only people with no integrity, no pride in themselves, would do, or condone, something illegal to keep their widdle position. Lerner has already shown she has no integrity, no pride, so she deserves whatever punishment she gets. I would have some respect for her if she had walked out and called a news conference the second she learned of the illegal activities but now? Nope, she brought things down on herself.

SHE asked a reporter to ask a specific question at the end of a conference. The reporter agreed to ask it, and bingo! That means that LERNER may actually be a good guy!
And that answers my question - what would any of us do in that situation? It sounds as if Ms. Lerner may have done the right thing!
So she waited until after the election, until the penultimate moment before an Inspector General's report was about to hit the world like a bombshell, timed it so the admission would hit late on a Friday when news gets the least possible coverage, and that qualifies her as a good guy? I am unconvinced. I think the IRS knew they were caught and figured a preemptive apology would be the best way to make the news public.
Well, OK... that may be true. I guess it really depends. Was she a "sanctioned' whistle-blower (did her higher-ups put her up to it) or was she a lone wolf? One thing I read was that Lerner actually put a stop to the practice when she found out about it, but was apparently later overridden or ignored. By whom?
If she was a party to it, then no sympathy at all. If she was stuck in a bad position, then I have some sympathy. I will say this - she was a Bush appointee, so she is not necessarily one of the Chicago machine slimeballs. Not that that makes her reputable, but if she were a drag-along from Chicago, we would KNOW she was dirty.
In other words, typical Democrat method of operation.
You have to admit B.O. does stand for 'meaningful change". A change to a lower standard of living. A change to a weaker less influential America. A change to a more corrupt and less fair America.
