  • And the dumbing down of America continues. At this rate the illegals sneaking over the border will be smarter then the native born citizens. Just look at people like Rachel Jeantel for proof of this.

  • Cable companies are greedy corporations anyway. This is just another reason to not have cable.

      • I don't need cable, not when I have a whole internet to enlighten about Corporate Greed's gold heist.

        • Dumb question for you crowley, who is your internet service provider? If you are not at the public library, my guess is that the company that is your ISP also makes a sh!tload bundling cable/phone/internet into 1 bill.

          • Yeah, little 1985 dude, let's talk about Corporate Greed. If you want to take them out of the equation, figure out a way to stretch a string from your mother's cable outlet to you computer and add an old used soup can so you can, at least, have phone service.

  • "I came to Pivot because I think there has to be some sort of middle ground between the Kardashians and C-SPAN," McCain said. "I want to give people information but not talk down to them. I am so excited. This is the best thing I've ever done."

    Enough said...

  • Please not another McInsane on TV. It is all that can be stood to see her nutty dad on TV and his babbling.

  • In the article she says that her generation is the most politically engaged. I've taught many university students and I'm not seeing that at all. Most never even heard of Benghazi or F&F, and they can't really believe the government is spying on their FB & Twitter posts.
I would say they are the most politically ignorant generation ever. Even the ones who voted for Obama can't voice an opinion why.

    • I would not say most ignorant but most indoctrinated generation.

The left dominates the college battlefield.

    • Fox and Friends on Friday showed a guy from the Media Research Center obtaining 14 student signatures in an hour at George Mason in support of "fourth-trimester" abortions. Of course, there are only three("tri") trimesters in a pregnancy.

        • Well, we had generation x, maybe this is generation o?
Then, maybe they can teach each other how to play tic-tac-toe.
I wonder how long it will take them to figure out that they can't win that one!

          • They ARE more engaged, more vocal, speaking out a lot. They just have no idea what they're saying, thanks to their liberal education.

      • It's on something called Pivot TV...

        http://www.pivot.tv/

        ...here is the wiki info...

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pivot_(TV_channel)

...on the surface, it looks a bit lame, but they do describe themselves as a "disruptive TV" service that will focus on social advocacy. However, when I looked into who is bankrolling this thing, Participant Media...

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Participant_Media

        ...it got my attention...

Participant Media (formerly known as Participant Productions) is an American film- and television-production company which finances and produces socially relevant films and documentaries. The company is described as being politically active: Its films are typically based on current events and topical subjects and presented in such a way to inspire viewers to advocate for social change.

The company was founded in June 2004 as Participant Productions by Jeffrey Skoll, the "second employee" of eBay, to produce projects that were both commercially viable and socially relevant. Skoll had earlier co-founded Ovation Entertainment, a start-up film production company, in 2001 but quit the company in the summer of 2003. Skoll began discussions with Hollywood insiders, technical experts and financiers in September 2003 to educate himself about film production. One of Skoll's critical advisors was Peter Schlessel (formerly the president of Columbia Pictures and later the president of Sony Pictures Entertainment).[12] By January 2004, the company had pulled together most of its staff, many of whom attended the Cannes Film Festival. The company believed it had a deal to distribute the documentary film Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004), directed by Michael Moore, but lost the distribution rights to the Fellowship Adventure Group (a film-distribution company formed by Bob and Harvey Weinstein specifically to release Fahrenheit 9/11).

Then in Feb 2013, Participant Media launched a Latin American production division, Participant PanAmerica, to co-finance Spanish-language films with Mexican producers. The plan calls for 12 films to be made under this division over a five-year period.

...they have a plan to infest our culture with progressive BS, not that we need any more of that. Plus they have some money behind it.This is something Beck is looking to counter with The Blaze, & I find it interesting that they named the network by using a word Glenn uses all the time when discussing change. Ever heard ask, "Where's your pivot point" when asking someone about why they flipped on an issue? I hope this goes over like Air America, & sinks down like lead into the sea. We can all live in hope that Pivot dies an ugly death.
