  • Better to keep one's mouth shut and have others wonder, than to open it and remove all doubt that you are an idiot. Being an idiot must be required to be employed at msnbc.

    She is a perfect example of quotas and the need to have a affirmative action in the work place.

      • Both the teams I rooted for today lost. I should rent myself out: if you want your team to win, pay me to root for the other team.

        I also make a great cooler at the blackjack table.

          • I wrote a column a couple years ago about the awful NFL refs, and this game had perhaps the worst call in NFL history. The 49er who had his leg gruesomely broken sideways at the knee but managed to come down with the ball and hold on to it in spite of the horrific pain he must have been feeling... and the refs saw none of it. It happened in full view, no obstructions, 40 million TV watchers could see it, but the ref standing right there didn't see the ball in the 49er's hands. Awful. And to make matters worse, the refs are crawling all over the pile separating players OBLIVIOUS of the screaming man at the bottom of the pile with the broken leg. IDIOTS.

          • Man! That was a horrid call!

            Is it too much to ask that a coach could EVER say, "Hey, that call was horrible; we're giving the ball up"? Could I PLEASE see a moment like that before I leave this Earth?

            So much money at stake that sportsmanship is a billion-dollar liability.

          • Meanwhile, in the Denver game, it semed obvious that the NFL wanted Peyton Manning's storyline in the Super Bowl and the refs were doing what they could to make that happen. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but I have never seen so much pass interference go uncalled in my life. Wes Welker came across the middle and TOOK OUT New England's best cornerback with a crackback block. He was lost for the game and the receiver he'd been shutting down suddenly was catching passes all over the place. Not only is that offensive pass interference, Welker left his feet on the block which is also illegal. Then, right after that, Denver ran another illegal pick play and they called DEFENSIVE holding on the guy who was picked. OF COURSE HE TRIED TO HOLD ON, HE WAS BEING ILLEGALLY BLOCKED! Sheesh.           • Hey now, let's not forget all of the New England defenders that were perfectly free to mug Colt receivers without flags in years past. The Patriots have always been favored by the refs on their home turf.

          • Okay, maybe, but did you ever see a Patriots receiver come across the middle and LEAVE HIS FEET to throw an illegal block on a cornerback and literally KNOCK HIM OUT OF THE GAME PERMANENTLY? Not only was it an egregious violation, it was an obvious violation in plain sight as well as a game changer. Denver's offense wasn't its normal self until that cornerback was knocked out of the game - then they started clicking.

          • Don't get me started on what POS's I think Denver players and fans are. I lived there for a year back in the early 80's.

          • Heroes like Manning are protected by the refs because 1.) they are money machines for the industry; 2.) people always want to see how big they can make something or how long they can keep it going. This is the phenomenon behind always voting for a Kennedy - no matter how distant a Kennedy or how clumsy they are at public speaking.

  • Where do these stupid shrills come from? It's like PMSNBC spends all their time and money looking for the dumbest, pre-programed, morons they can find. And the funnest part is the stunned look on that idiot Zucker's face when their ratings tank.

    • MHP is product of our cultural evolution. She is smart & she's been told she is. She has been to college, & she now teaches in college. She has now made her way from academia to the media, but now she has a problem. She is a byproduct of our self esteem movement & maybe, a bit of affirmative action, & now she makes mistake, after mistake, after mistake. All on air, & her job seems to be safe. That speaks volumes about the NBC news division.

  • When you're so superior to those around you , its easy to to take the Liberal manta , " I reject Reality and replace it with my oen ." Sadly there is this other psychological need to those that think this way , " If you love me you'll let me lie to you and believe it ."

    Up is down and down up . Good is evil and evil good . There is no God of the Bible , and on and on it goes .
