Michael Moore and Lawrence O’Donnell. Put ‘em together in front of a camera and the socialism just begins to spontaneously ooze. Or spurt. Or gush. Yeah, gush is a better word.
Here’s Michael Moore explaining how President Obama should use government control of General Motors to bring about a socialist workers green paradise:
The auto thing is a good example, too, where I wish Obama would just … if he would just ratchet it up another notch. Yes, you saved the jobs of all my friends back in Michigan but now that we sort of control the car companies let’s get them doing mass transit. Let’s get them doing things that are going to save this planet. Because the internal combustion engine is not going to get us to the twenty-second century. That’s just not gonna, we’re not gonna have a planet. That has to stop. And I just thought, jeez, when you have this power you can do things. And he’s just kinda like, “Nah, we’ll just get the money back from the auto companies and it’s all gonna be ok.”
Putting the questionable constitutionality of Moore’s dream aside, we have one question:
Do you really expect anyone to believe you have friends, Michael?
Fat chance.

Why isn't Michelle obama mama all over this fat slob? BRING HIM TO RICHARD SIMMONS AND MAKE HIM STAY SWEATIN' TO THE OLDIES FOR ETERNITY.
Is it my imagination or has this guy gained another 75 pounds in his face?
This guy should be the poster boy for the anti-fatness groups.
It's disgusting the way the fat ripples on his face whenever he talks.
If my unicorn held his breath so long he farted hard enough to bounce his horn off of Mars, he'll never live to see the day the likes of Micheal Moore, Al Gore, Prince Chuckles and the hordes of Hollywood halfwit hypocrites are caught DEAD riding mass transit alongside the proles. This is a con job. Moore is like the jerk who puts a quarter in the Humane Society box so he can feel less guilty about going home and kicking his dog.
I drive a large conversion van, I'd rather have a truck but with the kids and all their friends and the trips around the nation for BMX we used to take all the time, an electric car simply would not suffice. I enjoy a nice engine like every car guy on the planet. When I get rid of the van I am looking for an older car made of good old Detroit steel so when someone hits me again, I have a love tap and their piece of crap made of plastic is destroyed. I want to change my own oil again and I do not want a crap load of computer chips in a vehicle ever again. Give me a '57 Chevy truck or a '68 Charger over anything new any day of the week and I'll be happy. Oh, on the subject of Moore all I have to say is big, fat, lazy moronic slob can't stand the guy.
My brother had a '70 Charger growing up. Awesome music that the 440 Magnum makes. Had 60,000 miles on it and on the 3rd engine when he ran out of money and had to sell it. He's spent the rest of his life looking for another one to replace his lost love.
Had a cross ram 413 in it at one time, too. Those were the days -- chasing the rumors of that Plymouth Superbird up in the Monkey Mountains of NW Mo, just sitting there in some hedge row.
Yeah, Joe Dirt is a hero of mine.
Started out driving in a 75 Chevy truck that the guys at the shop I worked in souped up for me. My love was my '76 Camaro, wish I'd never sold the car someday I'll find another. Take away the engines with power and I'll go back to a horse and buggy happily, have grass will go.
Jeez, Moore looks like a heart attack waiting to happen, I suspect he'll croak long before the internal combusiton engine does.
Fatso wants us out of our Hondas and Mustangs and into trains and buses. Every leftist, without exception, is a fan of mass transit, makes it easier to control the proles. People in cars and pick ups have a tendency to drive off and do things the Michael Moores of this nation disapprove of. Their problem isn't the internal combustion engine, it's the freedom it represents.
You kill your internal combustion engine first, Michael.
At this moment, I have no knowledge of an electric motor powerful enough to be used in a shipping truck. So if we abolish the internal combustion engine, how will we transport products - food, textiles, solar panels - across the country? Trains will get them to depots, but how to get those products from those locations?
Uhm, actually, trains are just full of electric motors that can haul the equivalent of hundreds of trucks full of coal up Sherman Hill, at a fuel efficiency way above that of regular trucks.
However, the problem with electric motors is they either need a damned long extension cord, on board generation from a gas/diesel engine, or to take a *lot* longer than an internal combustion engine to recharge. Last I heard, it takes hours to charge batteries to go 60 miles -- and it takes minutes to put 10 gallons of gas in my beater to go 300 miles.
Trains, of course, power their motors with great big diesel engines.
Trains use Diesel engines to start motion and reach operating speed then these engines are throttled back to run generators which generate electricity to run electric traction motors to keep the train moving. When these trarction motors begin to lose torque the diesels are throttled back up so that adequete motion is maintained. Thus todays lesson in trains. Thank you for your participation. Please forward to all the enviro-wackos you know.
Understood, Perlcat - but how do those items get FROM the depot to stores? The train doesn't actually go TO the store, right?
just pointing out that there *are* motors big enough for trucks. The reason you don't see them in trucks is because such a vehicle would be useless.
Ah, all right. Thanks for the info!
**cues "The More You Know" music**
i'm sure there'll be internal combustion engines well into the 22nd century
Michael Moore, how did you get your fat ass to the interview?
FORKLIFT
LOL!
So Moron, I take it you are either driving a Volt (or nothing at all) or you are a total hypocrite. But then a liberal not being a hypocrite is less likely than Moron being able to get that fat blob he calls a body into a Volt. I'm surprised he isnt being chauffeured around as cargo in an old Army deuce and a half.
Yeah, doesn't look like he's biking to work does it??!
The power of hypocricy may be the biggest thing progressives like Michael Moore, Al Gore, & other progressives/socialists enjoy. The fact that they would never subject themselves to the rules they wish to impose on the masses does not get in the way of what they want to do & how they want to live. It is you that must give up air travel, large cars & SUVs. It is you that must cut back on heating your home in winter & cooling it in the summer, not them. Remember, socialism is for the people, not the socialist, & those who are not bothered by that who support them who don't get that, deserve to be subjegated. Personally, I do not want what Moore, Gore, & other total frauds are selling.
Y'all should cut Michael (A.K.A. "Moob") some slack. He heard there was an opening in Guinness for being a disgusting opinionated slob in the 600 to 700lb range.
He'll have to go on a diet, but it'll be worth it.
