Michael Moore: Obama should force GM to kill internal combustion engine

Michael Moore and Lawrence O’Donnell. Put ‘em together in front of a camera and the socialism just begins to spontaneously ooze. Or spurt. Or gush. Yeah, gush is a better word.

Michael Moore and Lawrence O’Donnell. Put ‘em together in front of a camera and the socialism just begins to spontaneously ooze. Or spurt. Or gush. Yeah, gush is a better word.

Here’s Michael Moore explaining how President Obama should use government control of General Motors to bring about a socialist workers green paradise:

The auto thing is a good example, too, where I wish Obama would just … if he would just ratchet it up another notch. Yes, you saved the jobs of all my friends back in Michigan but now that we sort of control the car companies let’s get them doing mass transit. Let’s get them doing things that are going to save this planet. Because the internal combustion engine is not going to get us to the twenty-second century. That’s just not gonna, we’re not gonna have a planet. That has to stop. And I just thought, jeez, when you have this power you can do things. And he’s just kinda like, “Nah, we’ll just get the money back from the auto companies and it’s all gonna be ok.”

Putting the questionable constitutionality of Moore’s dream aside, we have one question:

Do you really expect anyone to believe you have friends, Michael?

Fat chance.

Lawrence O’Donnell demonstrates the left’s version of “fair and balanced”

Which cable news network is truly fair and balanced – Fox or MSNBC – was proven once again when the story was President Obama’s invitation to rapper Common for the White House Poetry Night.

Which cable news network is truly fair and balanced – Fox or MSNBC – was proven once again last Wednesday night (in other words, it was just like every other night of the week). The day’s top story was President Obama’s invitation to rapper Common to participate in Poetry Night at the White House.

On Fox, O’Reilly brought on not one but two liberal radio talk show hosts to present the leftist point of view. MSNBC’s Larry “The Cable News Guy” O’Donnell brought on one liberal to parrot his talking points.

Might this be why the latest ratings reveal The Factor more than triples The Last Word’s number of viewers?

While attacking Republicans for speaking out against the invitation, O’Donnell singled out the line, “Tell the law my Uzi weighs a ton” as the reason for the Republican’s objection.

Larry purposely, conveniently omitted what Republicans made very clear as their objection: lyrics about burning President Bush, and defending cop killer Joanne Chesimard.

The straw man that O’Donnell and his guest offered as substitute? Racism. Being MSNBC, would you expect anything else?

Shamelessly substituting lies for truth with phony righteous indignation: Larry O’Donnell – a proud graduate of the Edward R. Olbermann School of Yellow Journalism.

The greatest interview ever: Condi Rice spanks Lawrence O’Donnell like a little boy

MSNBC’s smug, smarmy Lawrence O’Donnell thought he was going to make a fool of former Secretary of State Condi Rice. Didn’t work out that way. Not even close.

This video clip is eleven minutes long and every damn second of it is classic.

MSNBC’s smug, smarmy Lawrence O’Donnell thought he was going to make a fool of former Secretary of State Condi Rice. Didn’t work out that way. Not even close.

O’Donnell is now recovering from the beating in an undisclosed New York City hospital.

You’re going to love this. Guaranteed.

MSNBC’s new ad campaign: Making the niche even smaller

Apparently someone at MSNBC decided they should follow Rachel Maddow’s example and come out of the closet. As extremists, that is.

Apparently someone at MSNBC decided they should follow Rachel Maddow’s example and come out of the closet. As extremists, that is.

No more pussyfooting around claiming they’re moderates. They’ve even given up claims that they’re merely liberal and gone straight to extremist.

The new ad campaign gives each of the hosts a chance to one-up the others by revealing just how out there they are.

Lawrence O’Donnell doesn’t think Barack Obama is liberal enough. Probably doesn’t think Stalin was, either.

Don’t loan Rachel Maddow money. Since she seems to think the country’s finances are in great shape we’d hate to see what her checking balance looks like.

Ed Schultz is a regular guy. A Cheers bar, neighborhood diner kind of guy. Oh, yeah, and a guy who hates big business. Pray to God you don’t get stuck with the stool next to him at the diner.

Poor Chris Matthews. Looks like all the other good commercial ideas were taken, so he got stuck with the birther concept.

New Racism Alert: MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell says it’s racist to talk about Obama’s “union bosses”

Silly us. We thought it was an accepted fact that Barack Obama and the Democrat Party are in the pocket of the labor unions. But, no, it turns out that the mere mention of that corrupt relationship is now racist, too.

It’s a damn good thing we have the Liberal Racism Army out there defining, alphabetizing and categorizing everything that now qualifies as racism, because it would be absolutely impossible to keep track of them all otherwise.

Silly us. We thought it was an accepted fact that Barack Obama and the Democrat Party are in the pocket of the labor unions. But, no, it turns out that the mere mention of that corrupt relationship is now racist, too. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell said so.

“The Republican party is saying that the president of the United States has bosses, that the union bosses this president around, the unions boss him around. Does that sound to you like they are consciously or subconsciously deliver the racist message that of course, of course a black man can’t be the real boss.”

Yes, of course, Lawrence, it’s racism. But then, what isn’t?

What’s the difference between Larry the Cable Guy and Larry the Cable News Guy?

One tells jokes, the other one is a joke, as this story clearly demonstrates. Larry O’Donnell made not one, but two bonehead blunders on his show Monday night.

One tells jokes, the other one is a joke, as this story clearly demonstrates.

Larry O’Donnell made not one, but two bonehead blunders on his show last week.

First, he got the words to “America the Beautiful” wrong when he said, “God shed His light on thee” instead of “grace.” If Palin had made that same mistake, MSNBC would present an entire week of shows declaring her an idiot and un-American (which they’ll do anyway.)

Later in the show, Larry let his Palin Derangement Syndrome blind him while citing a joke Palin made over the weekend. Referring to Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank’s call for a “Palin Free February” in the media, she said it sounds good because “there’s a lot of chaos in Cairo and I can‘t wait to not get blamed for it—at least for a month.”

Larry the Cable News Guy’s misinterpretation of the joke comes at the 5:20 mark of the clip below.

Yes, that’s right. Palin mocks Larry and the media for their obsession with her, and Larry thinks she’s mocking Egypt.

Considering where Larry’s head usually resides, you’d think it would be easy for him to discern that he was the butt of the joke.

The last person in the world you would expect to support Chris Christie … just did

Good lord. Lawrence O’Donnell is starting to sound positively rational. Chris Christie’s press office issued a press release earlier this month containing this defense of the governor by the normally rabid MSNBC host.

Look for Lawrence O'Donnell to be named Worst Person In The World by Keith Olbermann

If we’re not mistaken we believe we just saw a pig fly past our window.

O’Donnell: Meanwhile another New Jersey politician has pretty much dodged any criticism, Newark Mayor Cory Booker. Here he is shoveling snow a few years ago. According to this official twitter feed during this most recent storm he delivered diapers to someone who couldn’t get out to do shopping and dug out another person’s car. All valiant and thoughtful and considerate things to do but you don’t need a mayor to do those things. All mayors and governors can really do during a blizzard is pretend to be helpful. They know nothing more about snow removal than you or I do. And if you vote for them on the basis of what they pretend to know about snow removal, then you have been played for a fool. Cities and states above the Mason Dixon Line have professionals on their payrolls who think about snow removal all the time. They think about it in August. They look forward to it. They know what to do when it happens. They don’t panic when snow falls. They just go do their jobs, which is why as Governor Christie correctly noted 95% of all the state roads were cleared, absolutely cleared, by Tuesday morning, which is exactly how long it would have taken if Chris Christie was in New Jersey posing for phony photo ops on snowplows like some of his predecessors have done. So, tonight’s rewrite is not for Government [sic] Chris Christie who kept his promise to his family at absolutely no cost to his state. It’s for the people attacking him for not doing any of the ineffectual phony stunts that they seem so impressed by when other politicians summon the media to watch them shoveling snow.

Did you see the poll that showed Chris Christie as the only Republican who can beat Obama in 2012? As one wag said, “Christie says he’s not running, but all politicians say they’re not running until they see a poll that shows them winning.”

Let’s see how quickly O’Donnell turns on the New Jersey governor when he announces that he’s a candidate.

Socialist cannibalism: Lawrence O’Donnell chews up Congressman Alan Grayson

MSNBC’s self-avowed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell is beginning to sound intelligent. At least in comparison to walking dead Congressman Alan Grayson.

MSNBC’s self-avowed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell is beginning to sound intelligent. At least in comparison to walking dead Congressman Alan Grayson.

O’Donnell, Robert Greenstein of the leftist Center on Budget and Policy Priorities think tank and Ezra Klein of the Washington Post, triple tag-teamed Grayson and tried (emphasis on the word tried) to show him the error of his ways on President Obama’s compromise with Republicans on the extension of the Bush tax cuts.

O’Donnell channeled the voters in Grayson’s district and erupted in anger at the Congressman’s ignorance. In fact, O’Donnell got so pissed that he called Grayson a “dolt” and cruelly pointed out that the recently de-elected Congressman will be out of a work in January.

God, Grayson’s an ass. He actually tries to calm the situation down by saying, “Oh, please, let’s not insult each other with that kind of language. This is supposed to be the intelligent network.”

Has anyone ever seen Grayson’s wife? The poor woman must be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Liberal civil war on MSNBC: Sit back, watch, enjoy

Trust us, you’ll get great pleasure out of watching this clip. Post-election recriminations fly as Salon’s Glenn Greenwald, who calls himself a progressive, goes up against MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, who proudly calls himself a socialist.

Trust us, you’ll get great pleasure out of watching this clip. Post-election recriminations fly as Salon’s Glenn Greenwald, who calls himself a progressive, goes up against MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, who proudly calls himself a socialist.

In fact, he says, “I am a socialist. I live to the extreme left, the extreme left of you mere liberals”

We actually like Lawrence O’Donnell a little more after watching this clip. At least he seems to have a bit of a grasp on reality, which is not something you can say about some other MSNBC hosts, who shall remain nameless simply because we can’t bear to type out their names again today.

The kind of hard-hitting interview that will make MSNBC number one…one…one (insert echo sound effect here)

New MSNBC host Lawrence and South Carolina Senate Candidate Alvin Greene. Dumb and dumber. Literally. O’Donnell apparently thought it would be funny to interview Greene and prepared a series of stupid questions like “Why was your high school nickname ‘Turtle?’”

But Greene one-upped him in the stupid department by answering every question with the same answer: “Jim DeMint started the recession.”

This, of course, offended O’Donnell, because everyone at MSNBC knows that George Bush started the recession. And the War in Iraq. And the Great Depression. And the Boxer Rebellion.

Congressman tells Lawrence O’Donnell “You’re illustrating why MSNBC’s viewership is in the tank”

It’s been a bad week or so for MSNBC’s grating, obnoxious host substitute Lawrence O’Donnell. A really bad week. Guest Republican Congressman John Culberson of Texas came out with all barrels blasting.

It’s been a bad week or so for MSNBC’s grating, obnoxious host substitute Lawrence O’Donnell. A really bad week.

He recently conducted what has been widely called “the worst interview in history” while filling in for Ed Schultz.

Apparently O’Donnell didn’t see the reviews, because he tried the same obnoxious, pushy tactics while filling in for Chris Matthews on Friday.

But this time the result was different. Republican Congressman John Culberson of Texas came out with all barrels blasting:

“You know, Lawrence, for your listeners, you’re illustrating why MSNBC’s viewership is in the tank. Because you don’t allow your people you’re interviewing to answer questions. And, you know, Lawrence, this is why Katie and everybody else is going to Facebook, everyone’s going to the Internet because why listen to MSNBC when you won’t even let the people you’re interviewing answer the question?”

Letting Republican congressmen make you look bad is no way to get a regular gig, Lawrence.
